Aside from helping move things along inside the system, soluble fiber tends to bind with cholesterol and other fats in the diet and prevents some of them from entering the blood. It also helps give you a full feeling so you don't overeat. All plants provide fiber, as that is what constitutes the majority of the plant cell- but plants also provide essential vitamins and minerals we need. You simply were not designed for a no fiber diet. Your colon is not designed for you to subsist as a strict carnivore, and although meat is an excellent source of readily available protein and iron, it doesn't provide the A, B, C, or E vitamins you require, and very few of the other minerals. Those must come from plant sources, and to get them you have to eat the fiber that comes with them.

the body cannot digest fibre but nevertheless it plays an important role in helping us stay healthy. fibre is divided into 2 groups. Soluble n Insoluble. Soluble helps to regulate blood sugar levels. while the insoluble one helps to prevent constipation and keeps the digestive system healthy.

to push out that which we do not want to sit around and
and ferment into something really bad
the best elimination is 8-12 hours - some people low on fiber
take 24-28 hours for food to 'go through the system'
and that causes sickness!

fiber gives us roughage which helps in bowel movement. it means we can **** easily and no constipation problems.but the process of fiber being converted to roughage is pretty long and hard, that's why as you get older,it becomes more an' more difficult to ****.well, thats why we got laxatives/purgatives,huh?
