Sadly that is a fact of being a human being, we are all very different. Sometimes it is hard to empathise with people but personally I find that if you try you can put yourself in their position. I believe we should all try to be nicer to each other. Unfortunatly sometimes I feel like I am in a minority. SO, it's not everyone, just some people and they mess it up for the nice ones. So cheer up and I'll say a prayer for you and keep spreading a little love ((*_*))

I think that egocentrism and lack of self-esteem are the roots of this phenomena. When people have low self-esteem, the only way they can feel superior is by diminishing another person either verbally or physically. Isn't it true that most bullies are cowards inside?? People who are self-assured and confident seldom put others down and they have the ability to see things from another person's perspective without feeling threatened.

People who ask our advice almost never take it. Yet we should never refuse to give it, upon request, for it often helps us to see our own way more clearly. One persons criticism is another persons advice.

People are self-centered, that's why. Everyone today is just about me, me, me, as long as I get mine, who gives a f*#@. It's awful. We need to remember to teach our children compassion, apparently they don't pick it up on their own. It is our responsibility as parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, to teach the children around us about compassion and reaching out to others.

I think it might be because everyone is so busy these days they forget to stop and actually THINK at all! It might be a better world if they would try to do that more often!
