It could be for lots of reasons, like not being able to spell presume. We all tend to see the worst in someone, especially before we get to know them. First impressions do last!

In my experience, the less intelligent a person is, the more likely they are to assume that other people are 'thick'! Those who are more aware and experienced will appreciate the good qualities of those they encounter whatever they may be.

Depending on the questions , and how it's laid down and described people make judgements about the level of sensibility, and we don't have much opportunity to get to know each other on here either.

We've heard that a million monkeys at a million keyboards could produce the complete works of Shakespeare; now, thanks to the Internet, we know that is not true.

I expect because they're thick themselves! But it is human nature to prejudge others....maybe it is a kind of defence mechanism like they may be perceived to be a threat to my place within a group

because some folks have oodles of patience, while others do not!

i call assumption the mother of all errors.
as long as we accept that there's no patch 4 human stupidity &
not everybody resorts 2 assumption, we'll b ok.

I'm trying very hard not to make any 'persumsions' about you because of your appalling spelling. The word you should have used is presume. So you were close and I'm not going to judge you ...

you always assume that the other person is either drunk stupid or lazy and when you find out you are wrong then you will be pleasantly be surprised. the masses are asses...word on the street

unfortunately we make our decisions about people in the first few seconds of meeting them....... one of our downfalls i guess......
