Many airlines and airports use handling agents to work on their behalf. Handling agency staff can work as booking clerks, check-in clerks, baggage handlers and operators of aircraft steps and tugs, plus many other jobs. The handling agents at Liverpool airport are Liverpool Aviation Services. Why not apply to them?

Hi ya,
I just saw your question and I think you are in luck!
I am job hunting myself at the moment and always get the Liverpool Echo on a Thursday to see if there are any good jobs advertised.
About 2 weeks ago I remember seeing 1 for jobs at the airport. There were at least 3 different roles being asked for and it looked like they were looking for a lot of staff.
After the jobs have been advertised in the Echo they are all put on the website-www.jobs-merseyside.co.uk which is pretty good and keeps them on for ages. There is a little search box at the top so just type in Liverpool Airport and it should come up.
Alternatively you could give them a call or pop in and have word to one of the guys that do the kind of things you want to do,they are usually pretty friendly.
I know a few people who work at the airport on the check in desks, the hours are nuts but they are really good to work for.
Good Luck and Happy Hunting! xx

By the airlines. But you have to know that sometimes a diploma in travel & tourism isn't enough because there are a lot of things more that you must study in a special school; sometimes the same schools than for the Cabin Crew. Good luck!

Do they not have a website? That is the best place to look first, as they should have a jobs section on there.

If not, contact the companies that are within the airport e.g Virgin, British Airways etc and see if they can help.

You can work for the airport, or you can work for an airline that travels to that airport. Which do you prefer?

A job link for the airport is below.
