we live in usa and have a friend that can get us delta buddy passes....can we use these passes to fly our daughter and grand daughter out from london to atlanta and back....we realise we may need to pay taxes, but is it allowed?????? thanx alot..

Only unless the person who gave you the passes (a Delta employee) is with them when they are at a Delta agent to set up the flights.
It used to be where you could give these as gifts and could mail them to your friends or buddies to use, now there are much more restrictions involved and they can only be used with the person who works for Delta is there in person at the counter to sign them over to the "buddy" they give them to.

True what Jason said. It is risky during that season you want to travel. You should have some back-up money in case you don't get on your return flight. If you really want to use it, try it when a lot of people are not travelling. December is not a good time to use it. On the other hand, I would get some emergency in case I don't get on it, I take it as an opportunity to explore wherever I am. Good luck.
