the quickest time that you can do this journey is in 1 hour 44 minutes.
You will need to catch either the circle line or the Metrolpolitian line from Kings Cross to Liverpool Street, where you then catch a Norwih train (which is fast) or the Ipswich Train (which) stops every where.
Trains leave Liverpool Street every half hour.
so there is one at 13:00, then the next is at 13:27 followed by a slow one at 13:38, then the next one is at 14:00 followed by 14:30 & then the slow one again at 14:38.

You need to be at London Liverpool Street for all stations to East Anglia including Ipswich. Allow about an hour and a half for that journey, and probably another half-an-hour to get from Kings Cross to Liverpool St on the underground.

aprox 2 hours which include all train changes, may have a possible change at eaither liverpool st and maybe again at colchester.
