to make a world where sin can only be washed away and forgiven by blood sacrifice? If God is pure love, then why does he need something like the death of something/someone innocent to occur before he is willing to give forgiveness. Remember that he's the one who made the rules, so why would he possibly want to make a rule like this? Can't he just forgive us because he loves us, and he knows we are imperfect because he made us that way?

But, my question is WHY did Jesus have to be the blood sacrifice? Why did there have to be a blood sacrifice at all? It was God's decision from the very beginning. So, Why blood sacrifice? Please answer the actual question. Please!

Thanks for the web site. Very interesting indeed!

But, if God created everything, then that means that he also created Satan and evil right along with him. Where did that come from and why would he WANT to do that. If everything comes from God's will, then why would he willfully create something as evil as Satan and then allow him access to his precious children, the humans? Why do this? And if God is pure love, then how is he capable of creating Satan who is pure evil. Where did the evil come from?

If Adam was made perfect, then how could he have possibly ended up disobeying God and eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. That's a sin, right, so that means he was made with the ability to sin from the very beginning or he wouldn't have sinned. That means he was made IMPERFECT from the very beginning. Since God knows everything, he had to have known that the humans would be tempted and would eventually eat from the tree. That means that your theory about a perfect life for a perfect life can't possibly be the explaination. Why did he tempt the humans with this fruit if he knew they would eventually eat it? Why?

To Jim McCrea
So you are saying that God is LIMITED? That there are rules that God has no control over. How is this possible if God is all powerful and made everything including the laws of the universe. If he could create them could he not change them at will. Unless, perhaps he did not create everything in the Universe. If this is so, then who did?

Well, you see, that's the problem with believing in a single omnipotent Deity.

Either that Deity, being single and omnipotent, is responsible for the evil as well as the good in the world, or you have to invent a sort of evil twin to lay the blame on.

So "God" is either of questionable character (being as how "He" visits horrible things on people, or at best, allows them to happen) or there is an equally powerful "bad God" that does all the mean stuff.

Well, there is the third rationalization: that this all-powerful Deity who made all things, made us with the capacity and the drive to do things "He" doesn't like, and then punishes us for doing things "He' doesn't like.

Kind of like telling someone "I want you to love me and respect me, but not because I tell you that I want that....I want you to want to do it, but if you don't, I'll torment you"

Read the Job story. It'll give you an idea of the Abrahamic "God's" basic character.

You wouldn't allow someone to treat your dog the way "God" allows "Satan" to torment Job.

It is because there is an *inner logic* to reality that necessitates certain things|

Remember, when Jesus was in the garden of Gesthemeni, He asked His Father if it were possible if this chalice could pass Him by|

His Father told Him that it was not possible|

Now God is omnipotent|

What does this mean?

It means that He can do all things - but only those things that are actually possible|

There are three ultimate laws of reality:

(1) Identity - A thing is what it is, not necessarily what we think or believe| (A=A)|

(2) Non-Contradiction - Something cannot both exist and not exist at the same time| ~A(~A. A)|

(3) Sufficient Reason - Something must have a sufficient reason for existing, being true, or happening, nothing can have these for simply no reason at all| ~B=|~A

Now these laws cannot be violated - even by God Himself - because to go outside of them is to go into the realm of the *intrinsically impossible|*

Now this "limit" on God also explains things like suffering in the world and the existence of an eternal hell.

Well lets see if I can remember that He's the one that made the rules during this post. Blood sacrifice is the most sacrifice there can be. It means you are willing to give up something meaningful to gain this. Of course this stopped over 2000 years ago with the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross. He was the final blood sacrifice and God gave His only Son for it. He made it possible for us all to have access to God Almighty through His death. God Himself died on the cross. Jesus was God in human form. He choose these rules that you would have to choose one of the most valuable things you possessed to do this, in other words, it wasn't something anyone would just do out of habit. You had to think about it and decide to do this. The blood of the innocent lamb will take the place of your blood on the alter. At the time, this was the most valuable thing you owned. God made certain you were doing this for real and not just doing it for safety sake. If you weren't sincere, you wouldn't have done it. God Himself went through torture and death Himself for this same process so you might be saved of your sins and be with Him for all eternity. What more can He do? Were He to just forgive us because He loves us, there would be people all over doing what ever they wished because they know they would be forgiven by a foolish God. He's not foolish my friend nor is He stupid...

Simple he requires nothing. That idea was made up at the council of Nicaea. When Gods Beautiful revelation(Gospel/Bible) was edited it to serve the needs of those who controlled the church. Check your history books it is all there.
God is the most forgiving He has more forgiveness on the end of his finger than all of humanity has combined. He needs nothing to forgive except our repentance. It is the content of your heart that will decide if you are righteous, not some magic words that produce forgiveness. And in fact there is no universal forgiveness. You must at all times be accountable for your actions and when you make a mistake you have to ask for forgiveness. We may not be perfect but we are capable of living far more moral lives than we live today, there really are no excuses that we are so imperfect. You will even find the idea you must ask for forgiveness in the Catholic church which is one of the oldest Christian churches and still holds on to some of the truths that were reveled to Jesus (peace be upon him)in the form of confession. Though as a Muslim we do not believe that we need a priest or anyone to intercede in our behalf, we still believe we must ask God for forgiveness and repent.
God needs nothing! He is perfect and to think he needs an act to forgive is to cease to believe he is perfect and capable of all things.

We would stay even in that situation for a a number of years. then you could promote your self or your mom. it would not matter a lot to God or Cesar.

Dear Friend,

Let us look to Gods word, The Bible for the answer:

The scriptures In the book of Genesis God created man, and gave him the whole of the Earth to live in and do as he wished. All god said was:

Genesis 3:3 but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' " God wanted them to leave this one tree alone as a symbol of his aithority, but Satan was jelous of Adam and Eve, and as we know he tempted Eve to eat from the tree as did Adam when tempted by Eve.

Gods origional purpose for us, was that we should live forever, on a paradise earth with him looking over us as a loving god

The bible says that god created them both in his own image, i.e. perfectly, and that if they had not questioned gods authority they would have lived forever, but in doing so, we became imperfect and death entered into the world: Romans 5:12 Death Through Adam, Life Through Christ
12Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned—

Under gods own law i.e. Leviticus 24:20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. As he has injured the other, so he is to be injured. the sacrifice of one perfect life (Adam) required the sacrifice of another perfect life (Jesus) This is why in John 3:16 it says 16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

The sacrifice of his Son atoned for all sin past present and future. God knows that we are imperfect now, but he certainly did not make us this way. We questioned his authority to rule over us, which is why he has now given us a period of time to prove ourselves wrong (which we are doing). But he also gave us the opportunity to come back to him through Christs sacrifice. Why? quite simply because he loves us!

God Bless

I hope that this answers your question

God Bless

Though Jesus God, he chose to lay aside the privileges of his deity to live on earth as a man. The Bible describing the sacrifice Christ made in becoming a man, says that Jesus made himself nothing; he took the humble position of the slave and appeared in human form. In human form he will be deeply humbled himself even further by dying criminals death on a cross Philippians 2:7-8 it is extremely important to note that Jesus did not cease to be God when he came to earth he simply laid aside his divine privileges and walk the earth as a man. In doing so he was personally able to experience the gamut of human emotions ranging from happiness to deep sorrow. He felt what it was like to be tired cold and hungry. He's not asking for the death of someone else, he freely chose to sacrifice himself in order to save us from the same punishment he received. And he didn't choose he gave us free will we chose, it was us to put him on the cross, it is us who must now give him our faith.

You have to get out of the Old Testament. Jesus was the blood sacrifice for our sins so that we no longer have to sacrifice, but to avoid sin and repent of those we have.

blood represent life. sin causes death. to save human from the effect of sin, which is death, so blood has to be shed. its not just in Christianity, other major religions also require blood to be shed for the same reason, but most use animals. for Christianity, only the blood of the one who is without sin can wash away sin. so Jesus blood has to be shed.

He created us to be able to choose our own paths. We chose to disobey Him in the garden of Eden, and for that we have to suffer. He did not make us as imperfect, because he made us in His own image.

How we are brought up in life, and what we do with what we learn, determine what kind of life we will have. We humans bring about our own demise.
