My husband is positive "Hepatitis B core antibody" and all the other hepatitis B tests are negative, two months ago also he was having the same result.
Six months ago he was all negative.
I also tested my self it came all negative.
He is not having any health complications and he didn't have any troubles for the last three years.
Doctor told him you don't have to take any treatment; have sex with your wife without protection!!!!
My questions are:
1- Is the viruses still a live in his liver?
2-what is the chance to transfer the virus to me.
3- What is the likelihood for the virus to start active again?
4- Do you suggest any medicine for him at this stage?
5- Is the "Hepatitis B core antibody" test required for immigration or they are asking for the "Hepatitis surface antigen" test only

I had Hepatitis B years ago. First husband gave it to me. We both tested negative 6 months later. We are both now re-married and new spouses never have got it. His new wife is pregnant. Everyone is still negative.
