In Broome? I was planning to stay there for a few days of luxury, is it worth it??

I have been to Broome but not the Resort you've mentioned.
Go in the cooler months is all I can say!
June, July, August; even those months have warm days but the nights do cool off quickly.

Hmmm .... it depends on what you value. The resort does have the best reputation and i imagine it plays up to this well ..... the pictures certainly support it and all the PR.
But if you want to compare photos, prices and the facilities it might be worth checking out this site where it's quite easy. The UK site has a sort on it, which is easier to use than the Australain site.

It is very nice as a resort, but nothing exciting as a location. Mainly for just for vegging out on the beach.
