What do you think of Depakote ER 250? I take it twice a day and it seems to be making me very happy. I haven't took none since this past Friday because it cost over $100 dollars to fill without insurance. I went into the hospital last Monday and got out this past Friday for mental health.

Well if it has been working and you have been prescribed it, really you need to find away that money is not what you base taking your meds on. Frankly it is more important that you have your medication than it is that you eat, smoke, what ever. Mood stabilizers such as this one need to be kept at a constant level in your body at all times to be effective. Once you miss a dose or two or more, you are messing with your body and taking a risk with your life.
Many drugs such as Lithium may be cheaper, but unfortunately it really does not matter what the drugs cost, it matters what works for you. If it works, FIND the money.

Lithium is the cheapest mood stablizer. It works wonders too. PLEASE TAKE YOUR MEDS!
