We have actors, singer, dancers...(male & female) but it is not an act that pleases God. There are actors and singers in Saudi Arabia and no one attacked them, not even the fanatics. The only thing is that, we all know that earning money must be in a way that serves society. What will the singer or actor benefit us? Songs distracts us from reading the Quran or religion book...that is all. For more info, the showbiz people cannot perform pilgrimage with money earned through this type of work. We all know right and wrong, some of us still do the wrong.

When a person enters show business(this is the correct spelling), the tendency is that, this person will be idolised by others. Islam does not permit idolising human whether as a god or an entertainer. The act of idolising is prohibited in Islam.

They do. Pakistan has it's own business, too. I have some of their plays on my shelves right now (even though I'm not that into them since they talk too dam fast). Many have and will. Have you ever heard of Shah Rukh Khan? He's a muslim man. His wife is Hindu and I know that they at least have three boys. Whoever told you we couldn't?

Muslims tend to concentrate on subjects like medicine, engineering, accounting or business. Or they just tend to work. There are many muslims in show business for example many of the actors in India are Muslim.
If you mean show business in the West then there is Art Malik but even his parents wanted him to be a doctor.
EDIT:
I JUST FOUND OUT DAVE CHAPELLE IS A MUSLIM
