sit ups won't give you a six pack, everybody has a six pack otherwise you would fall backwards when walking. The objective to reveal it is to lower your overall body fat. And no you can't spot reduce fat either.
You can achieve this by doing the following, which in turn will give you your toned physic your after.
1)40-45 mins cardio exercise in the morning before any food, at 65% of your max heart rate
2)Drink lots of water 9-10 glasses a day
3)Limit carbs to when you need them, ie around training (except the morning cardio)
4)Train weights the more muscle you have the more calories you burn
5) Eat regularly every 2-3 hours small meals with Protein and good fats
6)Limit Fruit and lots of veg (Fruit holds fructose which is a sugar)
There are loads more but follow these simple ones and you'll make some good progress in 4-5 months, you didn't get fat quick so you won't get thin quick either

If you're serious about this then I would be happy to help, but just doing 100 sit ups a day won't get you anywhere quickly I am afraid.
Sit ups are sh#te anyway, there are loads of ab exercises that really work and can focus on lower abs, upper abs etc.
Diet is a fundamental here as is doing the correct form of exercise, I would do a full body work out if I was you, because a flat stomach is no good if you've got bingo wings and a tank ***.

As said before, it depends on your diet, your present state, and if you do card to help you burn fat!
A tone tum is mostly about the diet you eat, and the calories you burn.
The Japanese Sumo fighters have very strong abs, but they also have a lot of fat tissue around them.
To let your abs show, dieting and cardio (fat burning exercise) are more important that the numbers of abs you do.

If this is your only exrecise you should check with a measuring tape and you may be shocked to see that the tummy and the waist actually increases !!
You must include 1.leg raises for lower abs. 2. Side bends for the obliques 3. deadlifts for lower back.
These must be combined with !.Cardio 2. diet.
Only then you will have what you want.........I know it is not easy ,otherwise everybody would be walking around with six-pack.
Good Luck.

exercise is definitely good...but you have to watch your calorie intake too...and get other exercise besides just the situps...and it is different i have found with different people how fast they tone up....everyones metabolism is different.....but if you watch your calories and burn more calories than you take in you will lose weight and or stay the same weight and tone up your body all over with more exercise than just the 100 situps a day...walking even is good exercise....a person can even make their exercise fun to do instead of feeling like a chore...

Depends on your age and diet. If you're in your twenties and eat a healthy diet then you'll be toned within a matter of weeks. If you're older it will take longer.

depends if you are feeling it after the 100. if niot then you wont get toned. you have to feel as though your muscles have worked, otherwise your wasting your time. that maybe you may need to up the situps to 200. go with the way your muscles feel

That depends on how much running or biking your doing too. Sit ups are great, to build mussel, but you also need cardiovascular exercise to reduce the fat.
