If your God is my God and he was author of the Bibleand also the Qu'ran...How can Muslims say the Bible corrupt and have the promise of Allah not to let this happen again in the Qu'ran? If he was already proved incapable of keeping his word pure did he suddenly become capable? Is this not the same God? Didnt he say he was the same God? does God improve with time? Was he not all knowing before and got caught off guard by those who corrupted his word?

I am proud you bring up the book of Barnabas as your idea of an uncorrupted Gospel...Therefore I would assume you are saying the Gospels we have now are not the Gospel Allah was refering to...which I would consider progress if we could get all Muslims to agree with you...Now the problems associated with the book of Baranabas I think we may have actuly discussed before but if not I would ask are you in agreement with Muhammad being the Messiah? And please do not quote Deedat Their is only one Messiah foretold of in scripture and he according to Isaiah was to be born of a virgin....Muhmmad was not....In the house of David....Muhammad was not....and in Isaiah 53 was to aotne for sin...Clearly this would be aginast Allah's wishs....Still we have no Gospel that agrees wiht the Qu'ran and if Barnabas is your uncorrupted Gospel why are Muslims refering to the comforter in John as the coming of Muhammad?

Yes Simon I agree with you whole heartedly I have even asked about these convenient suras before seems Allah's law did not pertain to Muhammad as he could also have as many wives as he saw as good but the rest of the Muslims were resricted to four...It is amazing to me that this man had more authority than Allah and that is acceptable to the same people who say worshiping a man is evil...akk of their so called truth must pass through Muhammad as the Qu'ran came for him all before him is corrupt and the only words of any prophet accepted are the ones in agreement with him..they seem to realize this and yet somehow find this acceptable and still believe this Allah to be the same God worshiped by Abraham who did not trust his truth to one man but had agreements with all scripture and all prophets.

Mystery woman how deceived you must be God gave his word to Moses wiht no asurrances and would allow this word to become corrupt and yet he would not allow the Qu'ran to become corrupt because he what? He loved Arabs more than Moses?
All before Muhamamd are not worthy of uncorrupted scripture? God could have kept his word pure but he chose not ot on Purpose that people would be deceived?????? How evil is this Allah?? Many men died believing in an atonement he gleefully admits he led them to believe so that he could give all of his truth to one man???? Dear missy have you got yourself an evil god that he would lead people to distruction because of what they were not Arabs??? I am not an Arab and I have the uncorrupted word of God and his truth was given to Moses and Jesus was the truth and he did pay the aotnement that all of the prophets did foretell Your Allah is the deceiver who agrees wiht deceit and lies and is not the God of Abraham who loved the truth.

Lady and others who think Allah merely allowed his word to be corrupted...I'm still not sure to what point if we could not before trust God but only if first he promises to keep his word pure...What other promises did he not make in the Qu'ran? It would be assumed by all who read the word of God that it could be trusted and yet somehow is is okay wiht yout aht for 4000 years there was no such promise therefore is is somehow okay that God allowed his people to believe in a corrupt scripture and to what point we do not no perhaps to their distruction but somehow he loves these people that he ahs given theQuran more so much so that he promises to keep his word this time...some how I would have trouble believing a god that allwed his followers to be purposely mislead wiht his approval thsoe who trusted his word and never knew it was unwoprthy because they trusted God and now you say he could not be trusted usless he gave a promise...The word of God is his promise people!!!!!

So what does allah say to those people who followed corrupt scripture that they knew once to be the word of God....Too bad you trusted me??? Is allah not worthy of such trust because I know my God is definitely worthy of my trust??? If those who followed the owrd of God before the quran could not trust God how is it now you trust Allah becuae you have his word??? Wasnt his scripture his word and he could not keep it pure what makes you trust a God who has not kept his word in the past??? your Allah is not a good God that he allowed people ot believe a lie because he did nto promise....What kind of story is that?? Moses should have siad yeah I know this is your word God but can i also get you to promise to keep it that way....I think God would have smacked him!!!!!! and deservedly so what kind of God do you worship that you must ask him to promise we can trust his word????

Mystery woman I can not imagine the word missy as derogatory but was in the midst of typing and could you nic did esacpe me I humbly apologise for misrepresenting you in a manner that you would be offended by..
I am not spreading intolerance but truth and I ma questioning a god that claims to be my god the God of Abraham. If Allah makes such a claim it must be tested it is the way of the God of Abraham that he proves himself. The God of Abraham does insist that we test a prophet as the prophet and scripture and if Allah calims to be the God of Abrham through this prophet mUhammad all evidences should point to this truth no need to take offfense or call someone intollerant for testing God to see that he is good. It is easy to see that agod we could not trust before Muhammad could not be trusted after Muhammad if Gods word as in scripture could not be kept holy then his peomise which is also in his scripture might well also be corrupt does this sound reasonable to you?

Mystery woman I agree to some point we do not question God but we must question as to whether the claims are made by God? are they consistant with God? These things we must ask or how are we to have faith simply because I bring you a word for God you say oka whatever you say must be true or would you test it by the word of god to see is it is in agreement with God?
The Qu'ran if written baout any other God would not be a problem as how can say what a different God mihgt teach but this Allah is not a different God but the God of the Bible and of the Torah according to him and if he is he has to be consisitant wioht that God and he is not and there is no way any Muslim can say he is therefore it is easier to call god weak and his scripture corrupt but it is your own God you admit could not keep his word. After giving his word to Moses he allowed it to become corrupt becuase Moses should have asked him to promise to keep his word...this is absolute blasphemy

Terry G. Now surely you have opened a Bible before that first book is Called Genesis It is the first book of Moses written 1500 years before the birth of Jesus though he did not physicly write it Moses would agree that he inspired it as wiht the rest of the Bible many words of god told by great prophet about the coming of Christ....Now how is you supose the Bible was written after Christ? Perhaps you should come to know God before you make an decisions as to what you believe?

Mystery woman the only truth out of Islam I agree with is there is but one God. Muslims feel the need to keep explaining htis to Christians as if we have many. It is a lack of spiritual understanding with your false prophet that you and he believe that the trinity was representative of more than one god.

"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away." Matthew 24:35
The Quran claims that the previous scriptures given to Moses, David, Isa and other Messengers are the words of Allah and inspired by Him.
The Quran challenges the Christians to judge by what is the Injeel during the time of Mohammad and makes no mention of them being corrupted.
The Injeel gives the Jewish scriptures complete authority to be the word of God and that it stands forever.
The Injeel also claims that all of Isa’s words are the words of God and that they will never pass away.
The Injeel also claims that God’s Spirit will teach the apostles and bring to their memory all of Isa’s words. Thereby affirming the Injeel, though written by apostles to be inspired of God.
No Muslim should accept the authenticity of The Gospel of Barnabas since it clearly contradicts the Qur'an's claim that Jesus was the Messiah. It claims, "Jesus confessed, and said the truth; 'I am not the Messiah ... I am indeed sent to the house of Israel as a prophet of salvation; but after me shall come the Messiah" (sects. 42, 48). This is flatly contradictory to the Qur'an, which repeatedly calls Jesus the "Messiah" [the "Christ"] (cf.5:19,75).
How can any Muslim be sure the Quran was written as Allah intended after Muhammed's death?
Sahih Bukhari Volume 6, Book 61, Number 509:
Narrated Zaid bin Thabit:
....."Casualties were heavy among the Qurra' of the! Qur'an (i.e. those who knew the Quran by heart) on the day of the Battle of Yalmama, and I am afraid that more heavy casualties may take place among the Qurra' on other battlefields, whereby a large part of the Qur'an may be lost. Therefore I suggest, you (Abu Bakr) order that the Qur'an be collected." I said to 'Umar, "How can you do something which Allah's Apostle did not do?"
The Quran also claims that the previous scriptures given to Moses, David, Isa and other Messengers are the words of Allah and inspired by Him.
Thereby affirming the Injeel, though written by apostles to be inspired of God.
so we can construct these deductive arguments:
Major premise: Some of Allah’s Words are corrupted.
Minor premise: The Quran is Allah’s Word.
Conclusion: The Quran could be corrupted.
Or we could do it another way:
Major premise: Some of Allah’s Words are preserved.
Minor premise: The Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel are Allah’s Words.
Conclusion: The Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel could be preserved.

There are now more than 60 versions of the Bible(Different versions not translations The different versions of the Bible are not merely different translations, but are actually versions i.e. they add and remove things from other versions)
These revisions serve as concrete proofs that all the Biblical books are not at all divinely inspired. This is because it is beyond man's ability to correct the work of his Creator, who alone is Almighty and perfect
The Bible is a collection of writings by many different authors. The Qur'an is a dictation. The speaker in the Qur'an - in the first person - is God talking directly to man. In the Bible you have many men writing about God and you have in some places the word of God speaking to men and still in other places you have some men simply writing about history.
The previous scriptures were meant for a limited period (and a specific people) that ended with the revelation of what abrogated them and exposed what had taken place in them of distortion and change. That is why they were not protected from corruption
Muslims believe in the books of the previous prophets including the "Torah" which was sent to Moses, the "Zaboor" (Psalms) which were given to David, the "Injeel" (Gospel) which was given to Jesus, and the Qur'an which was given to Muhammad However, Muslims are told that the previous scriptures were tampered with by mankind and the Bible should only be accepted in as far as it is confirmed by the Qur'an. It is to be treated with respect, however any statements which clearly oppose those of the Qur'an are to be rejected as the work of mankind.

There is a difference between not doing something and promising to do something.
He has PROMISED to safeguard the text of the holy Qu'raan.
He did not say that He was unable to do so in the past.
The Bible was corrupted by man but God allowed it to happen, since He did not make any promises in that regard.
If you say to one of your children that you WILL certainly buy him a gift, then you buy him a gift and you don't buy any thing for your other child that does not make you incapable of buying it.
He did not get caught off-guard. He just made a choice to protect the Qu'raan.
Do not call me "missy" in such a derogatory way! Does your God teach you to go around insulting people and speaking to them harshly?
Who knows why God chose to safeguard the Qu'raan and not the other scriptures? Perhaps because it is his FINAL TESTAMENT, the conclusion, the perfection of all His Revealed words. In any case it is His prerogative.
There is NO superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab or superiority with regard to colour, power, status or wealth in Islam.
I am not an Arab, yet I am still a Muslim.
I am not deceived, you are.
Uncorrupted scriptures were given to previous Prophets (pbut)
The followers of those religion changed the scriptures to meet their own ends. Allah is NOT evil.
We cannot question God as to what he can or cannot do - or should or should not do. So instead of spreading hatred, why don't you try to be tolerant?
I did not ask God to promise anything. He is all-wise, all-knowing.
All I can say is that I personally believe that the Qu'raan is God's Word. If you choose not to believe, that is your business.
It is not God who is unworthy of trust, since He is most truthful.
People are responsible for the corruption and causing confusion.
Those people will pay for their sins.
As I've said before I don't question God as to why He takes certain decisions. I believe that because of His infinite wisdom, He makes decisions that are in mankind's best interest.
All I can say now to your circular argument is this:
I am pleased with Allah as my Lord,
with Islaam as my religion,
and Muhammad (pbuh) as the Prophet and Messenger of Allah.
I pray that you are guided to the truth, if not then it is His will.
I believe in the One, True God.
The God of Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Jacob, David, Solomon and all the Prophets (pbut).
The God who sent Muhammad (pbuh) with the perfect religion of Islam.
He is One and has no parther.
And Allah knows best! And to Him is our return.

No sir. Allah or God does not evolve and he always keeps his promises and keeps his books unchanged. This is happening with the Quran and the Bible you can always TRACE them back to the original writings.
You keep asking the same convoluted question with no end in sight.
Now you don’t even deny that the Bible was not written by Jesus himself but by his followers and some of them did not even meet him in person nevertheless they claim to write the word given to him.
We keep repeating to you that there is what CHRISTIANS call the BARNABS bible which carries the true word of God.
Even the Catholic Encyclopedia claims that it is traced back to the 130AD but you are still convinced that it is written by Muslims. And here is the link
http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/02299a.htm
I am happy for one thing that is you are reading the Quran which is a good sign. The next good sign will come when you start understanding it.
God bless

God is not the author of the bible. The Bible was written by MEN, beginning 30 or so years after the death of Jesus. They are man's words, man's version of events and often changed according the the opinion of man (Christian scholars) The Qur'an was told to Muhammad by Gabriel and was directly from Allah. That is why is is not corrupt and remains unchanged.

Smart one,
i really like ur question,it is smart one,
simply Allah/god knew well that he will send the quran and he will protect it becoz there will be no book after it to correct any mistak made which happent by humans like wht happent in the bible.
when god send Jesus with the bible it had no faults or anything wrong but humans cancelled alot of parts of it and changed alot of pragraphs so Allah send the quran in order to remove any fault and to give us a book with fault and it will not be followed by any other book so Allah protecting his last word that will not be followed with anthore words, got it??

Mohammad just made up a lot of things in addition to the things he learnt from Waraqa bin Nofal, the Christian Missionary to whom he was sent by his first wife- Khadija bint Khuwaylid!?!?
Oh, by the way, didn't you know that Mohammad was an illiterate till he died????
You see, he saw "Religion" as a good way of getting control over the Land and created his fictitous story about Gabriel giving him all those Revelations!?!?
Maan, if you could believe some of those things he made up, you've gotta be an absolute moron!!!!
Allah gave him a "Revelation" that made his adopted son - Zain divorce his wife Zainab bint Jhash, because the old man craved for her!!!!
Allah gave him a "Revelation" that it was OK for the 57 year old Mohammad to have sex with the 6 year Aisha bint Abu Bak'r whom he married when she was 9 years old !?!?
Heck, Allah's "Revelations" were sure very convenient, huh????
And, you think Allah told this illiterate all the "corruptions" in the Bible????
Go figure!!!!
