Are there any ways of incorprating bran into a soup?

Can someone give me some suggestions? (That you have tried).

How about a cold soup? I once had a beautiful strawberry soup at a restaurant in Edmonton, Canada...try canned strawberries with a squeeze of lemon and some vanilla yogurt, then sprinkle bran on top.

None that I'd eat..........bran soup! Sounds like a recipe for the shits!
