I have my own faith: do instead of don't. Act instead of preach. Love instead of hate. Agree instead of fight. Work instead of think.

Christians have to keep convincing others to keep recruitment up. They know very few will seek out a religion on their own. People need to be taught they are bad and to be afraid of a god. Otherwise they will not need a god for redemption. Mind control.

Big generalization there much? I know quite a few Christians who quietly go about living their faith and only tell you about it if you ask. However debating theory between interested people doesn't seem to be such a bad thing - it can get quite interesting when everyone puts aside the insults.

What generally gets annoying is the very vocal few (and these are present in every group as a sub-group on this board some genuine some trolls). This very vocal few drown out the others simply because they are so loud and obnoxious that other points of view are missed among the shouting.

What about the Islamic people blowing eachother up? Is that better than debating? You are one individual. Religions are made up of individuals. You shouldn't base your judgements on a religion based on the actions of a few individuals. The actions of a few do not invalidate the teachings of an entire religion and it's believers.

All religions debate, please don't bunch us up like that. Well your faith is pretty much like the Christian faith! Anyway, many of us are a confused people but once we've found our God we enjoy living peacefully.:) And so many out there are just so defensive about their faith because they put everything into it and see criticisms as threats to their faith! I'm trying my best to spreading the love, not all of us are like that okay?:) God Bless!

I think you're either just meeting the wrong Christians, or you have some prejudice. Try being a little more accepting. We all make mistakes.

Do you need a hug, or APPROVAL?
Oh, and BTW sometimes it helps to think so you don't have to work harder, by doing something the right way, the first time.

Because christianity goes against nature. And as with many things, it works better in theory than in real life.

I don't know...now my question...why do non-christians spend so much time debating about why Christians do things instead of just going about their business? Is it just nosiness or is it just passive/ aggressive behavior?
