I would love to take extended vacations abroad, maybe a month or two, to really soak in the culture and better understand the world. But I'm happy to make the USA my actual home, and I enjoy both my careers here. Luckily one of them (the writing) I can do anywhere, so the vacation idea isn't out of the realm of possibility.

I am a South African and am living and working abroad...it is hard to leave your family and friends behind but it to me is the best decicion I have ever made in my life. I will be working and living in the Netherlands for 1yr, I go back to Durban(S.A) for 3months and then either come back to Bussum(Netherlands) or go to America...Take the chance and always keep in mind that you are doing this to please you and to better your life and future. I wish you all the best on what ever you decide to do...

NO. I'm happy and proud to be an American even though we have our problems. I have a decent job, and have no desire to live elsewhere. I'll stay in the country of my birth and set a good example for everyone.
