Not crazy, but why dont you go see him? Theres other factors like has he came to visit after work before? Plus you have to look at the fact that most men dont really put alot of stock in Valentines day. Just explain to him how you feel and if he still doesnt seem to care, lose him.

you have the right to feel this way. the thing is if it's such a long drive and he's the one usually driving maybe this time you should make arrangements to go see him. That would be a nice gift without losing the meaning of love. Men see things differently. Maybe he is planning a surprise visit for you? Whatever the case tell him without too much pressure how important this day is to you. He should get the hint. Best of luck to you.

Not at all. I'm going to drive an hour and a half to see my girlfriend on Valentine's Day. I also work night shift, but she's going to follow me back up to my work and hang out with me that night, so we can both drive back to her house and spend all of Thursday and Friday together.

I am not going to see my boyfriend on Valentine's day because he has to work the next day. It will be our first one together and he lives an hour away. We will be together the next day because he has Friday off. As long as you spend a special time together, to me it does not matter as to which day we do something special.

Valentine's day was made by greeting card countries. Nothing special.
And why should he do something for you? Why don't you do something for him??
Go to his work bring him a burger for lunch, and a quick kiss. That's all he would want.
