That's so sweet of you. :) What are your dad's hobbies? Maybe when you know that, you can make the right decision about what your dad would like to do with you? Have a nice time with your dad, i wish more young guys were like you. I hope he's proud of you.

this is such a sweet thought to begin with. camping has always been my favorite because of the nature and no disturbances factor. but keep in mind if the two of you are prone to argue doing something like taking dad to a casino or comedy club. my mother and I broke out into the worst fight because she was "too" relaxed. Also if your dad is older consider renting a cabin than pitching a tent for comfort. Good Luck!

Ask his advice...and then take it. It doesn't really matter about what..it just tells him that you value his opinion, and that you still need him , ask about his life.. what was it like when you were my age dad? Did you have dreams that never came to pass? What did you do in the war? What dream do you still have that we could do or chase together?? Your time and caring attention is what will bond the two of you, it doesn't matter what you do ,just as long as you do it together, and he gets the feeling that that is just where you want to be.
