I'm a shy person, thus if there's anyone I'm even a little interested in, can't work up the courage to talk.
So... Do women talk to guys they like, or are they waiting for the guy because of the social norm?

If you are waiting for the girl to make the move, you'll be an artifact before you get a girl. Women expect guys to make the move both becuase of the social norm and because thats how primal mating instincts are programmed (except for a few species on earth) into them. Males chase females. However of course there is always a few exceptions. If a girl really really really likes a guy and she can't wait anymore and she MUST have him, she'll take the initiative and make the move. Besides, if you make the 1st move, it shows your the alpha-male and shows confidence and assertiveness. Girls love that.

I completely agree with Herbal. I'm sorry, but i never approach guys. If a guy doesn't approach me, i guess he's just not that interested.

of course girls talk to guys they like.. but if your still waiting for the right time to talk to this girl.. you will just lose this forever...
