I can't believe some of the answers to this question. No wonder there is so much divorce. A relationship is not about "what you can get" from your partner. A relationship is when two people make eachother happy regardless of things like peni$ size and brea$t size etc.
Physical characteristics and financial stability CHANGE my friends. No one looks good forever, and sometimes people make bad choices that lead to financial trouble. Is THAT when you just bail out on them, because they aren't perfect?
Are you going to break up with your boyfriend just because he gets injured and can't work? Is that the extent of your "female superiority?" Is that the depth of your "vision"?
My wife and I don't have much money, but we're a d@mn sight happier than you will ever be with an attitude like that.
Shame on you all.

What initially grabs me is a quick wit, good sense of humor and easy going personality that likes to keep life simple meaning not dramatic. Of course we all men and women notice attractive people right away, but the moment they open their mouths their looks really don't matter any more. I have seen a most beautiful or hansome person that turned into the most ugly of people the moment they started talking. Well, I guess I really didn't answer your question, but I don't believe most American Girls look for a tall man in particular.

most girls, american or otherwise prob do look for a guy who is taller than she is. As for height in other zones, its been said the more you care about a man the bigger it seems to be

No, height is not that important. The number one thing i look for is a handsome face without fat on it.

That is the first universal truth(not just in america). If the short guy can make her laugh and has a fat wallet then he could be in with a chance too. Isn't the human animal kingdom just fascinating.

I read a surveys on top ten things women look for in a potential mate, I don't remember hieght being there. 80% of women survyed put financial support in thier top three. Emotional support and good listener were also popular.

not all american women. for one example, my current boyfriend of many months now is a little shorter than me. and i love him very much.. there's nobody in the world like him because he's sweet, and cares about me so much.
height doesn't matter when love is blinding your view :)

no-each case i different-some look for the way you are with their children-with me its if you got any humor-some look for your money-some look at your looks-everyone has different styles-has for height of man some ladys probably trip on that but hey im only 5-8 and lady ladies i go out with look for humor -
