We actually started a war because we thought that Iraq had WMD and it turns out that they didn't,but there are plenty of countries that do have them, why aren't we fighting them, and besides us,what other nation has ever used a WMD against another nation (we dropped 2 on Japan).I spent 16 years in the army (infantry),so I know a little about the military and how it works, there isn't a man on the planet who will peacefully accept the explanation that you just killed his entire family through collateral damage and he be okay with it,we create terrorists every time we kill someone's mother, father, sister, brother or child in our effort to get the ''bad guy'',we've got to find another way to go about our business or we will only continue to make extremists more extreme.

I spent ten years 'combat medic'. And i totally agree. for stevers I hope you get bent! why do people like you think a one world government will bring peace, I will never know? Giving all the power to one source is begging for total tyranny.

It really has to do with agenda. the powers that be have an agenda. google PNAC. they trick us into following their agenda. no I'm not a conspiracy nut. it's just common sense, people around the world hate war, including muslims. and for the last two centuries america has been at the center or at least behind the scenes of these wars.

It has nothing to do with republican or democrat. that is a trick. as if they are going to give a choice. all the while we keep right on destroying our world. People don't want to destroy their world. so why do we keep doing it?

OK think of this way there are 200 controlling stake corporations in the world 194 countries in the world. and there are 7 billion people in the world. IF THERE IS ONE WAY TO GET THAT 7 BILLION to tell those 400 hundred people who run the world to knock off the BS. please tell me? those 400 hundred have a way to shut us people up, it's called weapons of mass destruction. so what's that tell you about our world?

Good luck and God Bless.

An individual nation makes their own decisions. The consequences having nuclear weapons throughout the world is what ALL the nations should worry about. One slip up can cause a nuclear holocaust, one mistake, one misunderstanding can destroy all human life above ground, and those in shelters or bunkers who live to see what is left would be in the worst shape of all. The earth would be uninhabitable. New nuclear power states like India, Pakistan, North Korea, and possibly Iran, and other states have to realize the decisions they have to make. because many are natural enemies with the other. The decisions
to acquire nuclear weapons and WMD of any kind are individually made by each country that wants them, but with it comes the hopes or lack of hope for mankind as a whole.

Extremism from a terrorist ideal was started after the Shaw of Iran fell. The best way of stopping Extremist is having the moderate Muslums stepping up. Common Sense between countries. If a country says we we kill "This Country", and "that country" in their houses of government. And actuallly chant that. That is called people we should not let have the WMDs.

If you were in the army I'll eat my hat...Any soldier knows what a NBC weapon is. They include not only Nuclear Weapons, but Poison Gas, Biological Weapons, Radiologic Contamination (plutonium in a water supply), EMP weapons, and a whole host of Chemical weapons. PLEASE STOP SHOWING YOUR IGNORANCE.....Sadaam used Gas against the Kurds, and the Germans used it in World War 1. Probably used by the Russians in WW II.

Yeah,Fair call. You obviously have a pretty good understanding with what's happening in the world around us at the moment,Especially that you have served time in the military,A very good perspective to be commenting from.I believe that you have hit the nail on the head with your insightful question,So true.To answer your question,I believe no one country should have the right to determine who has the right to possess WMD,Maybe the UN could regulate or govern it if they don't already do it now.As far as I'm concerned,As long as you have aggressors you will always have extremists!

This a political war and it primarily is over oil more than anything else...our president doesn't want to pull out because to much money is at stake....don't believe the press....If our country is about democracy and freedom then we need to quit being hypocritical and tell other countries how they should live and defend themselves.

You spent 16 years in the Army? Why didn't you stay the other four and get a pension?

I understand your point but we have to have some kind of "national watchdog" to make sure other nations aren't getting ready to attack another nation, (which is really so stupid to do)
I think the United Nations Representatives from all nations should have access to each others weaponry to stop things like the terrorists flying planes into buildings on US soil.

It's truly sad that we have to keep watch over each other to make sure no one is trying to kill someone else in another country but that's the way it is.
