I have a courtdate in a little over a week to finalize my bankruptcy. I have some bills that I am worried will not be discharged due to complicated issues. (I got scammed, very bad). I have about $16,000 in debt. I've been beating myself up over it pretty bad. I always tell myself, "If I could just go back and redo that one thing a couple years ago..." I hate it. I just wanna be a normal young adult and get on with my life. I've been praying everyday asking for god's healing, help and his forgiveness. Is he listening? I know, this sounds silly, but sometimes I wonder. I hope he is.

Please guys, be serious. No jokes. I'm going through alot here.

Oh He certainly will help you. But it's crucial that you understand that things may not appear to be changing as quickly as you want them to... but that doesn't mean God isn't with you or that He isn't helping you.

There's nothing that anyone on here can say to you that's going to make you truly feel better. I'm quite sure the only way you'd be able to feel better is if someone offered you a legit check for $16K to rid you of your debt. Unfortunately, realistically speaking it won't happen.

It's up to you now to put your faith in God and keep your mind and heart open to Him. Patience and faith is the key.

I wish you all the best in your turmoil right now, but don't ever, ever give up on yourself or on God!

First of all, I really hope everything goes well for you. Whether one is a believer or not, I think it's more important to find your own inner strength. Whatever happens will happen, you can't change that now. What you can do is tell yourself that you will cope with whatever comes along and not give up. Look to the future and work towards the normal life you want. It may not be easy, but you will be a stronger person at the end of it.

le_disko,

Of course He is listening. Of course God will help you.
The next step is to seek out financial advice from someone who is practicing the principles set forth in scripture. Someone who can coach you on changing the behaviors that got you into this problem. Whether you were scammed or not, there are things we do that lead us into trouble.

Get some good advice. God will work through the counsel of someone wiser than you and I. I know, I've been where you are. Trust God and find an advisor who trusts Him too.

Crown Financial Ministries may be a good place to look for help. They may be able to supply you with a helpful contact in your town.

hi Sister great question. Allah ((could He be Exalted)) reminds us time and time returned in hardships we could have staying power and people who turn to Him (swt) would be people who're victories. each factor we bypass in existence is already ordained, as Allah (swt) tells us: "No calamity befalls in the international or in yourselves yet is inscribed in the e book of Decrees – till now We carry it into existence." (Qur'an fifty seven:22) So such as you suggested each thing does happen for a reason, however at time we are actually not waiting to co,understand the know-how at the back of it. I easily have encountered some troubling situations those days and easily nevertheless am. the only factor which easily pulls me by using is the words of the Almighty.Verily, with trouble there is alleviation" (Qur'an ninety 4:6). And that each and each physique which i'm encountering is nicely making me reliable as a individual, while as earlier i presumed i would not be waiting to get by using. yet Alhamdulillah I easily have and definitely Allah (swt) tells us that on no soul does he place a burden greater beneficial than that which they could't undergo: (Quran 2:286).

Dear sister in Christ God hears you and knows you troubles and knows everything in your heart and yes he will forgive you of any wrong doing. Please keep this in your heart God always answers prayers not always the way we want him to because he is much wiser than we are but he dose answer. I had to go through this too and I know it's hard but it will pass just put it in Gods hands.
As I end this I will pray for you now and have full confidence God will be with you through every step.

God will always help you through anything you are going through, whether it be hard or easy. And whether or not you see it now, He is. He is always there with you. Its like that one poem "Footprints in the Sand". Right now you are looking down and seeing only one set in the sand. Sweetheart, God is carrying you right now through these hard times. All you can do is keep praying and trusting in the Lord. It may not be right away, but eventually you will get through it and be ok. Keep smiling and keep praying!

God Bless,

Seriously, if you keep believing in mystical beings you will continue to get scammed. Just saying you believe in God makes you an easy mark for a con because you obviously trust very easily.
