A certain holiday is coming up on the 14th. I'm not going to say what the name of it is, but let's just say that I enjoyed it alot more last year when I was with someone.

I just asked a girl out and got shot down and I just want to know who else here is bad with the opposite sex?

Herbal's Advice For Guys On How To Handle Valentines Day (For Single People. Unfortunately, I'm not single. Im constantly involved in multiple-relationships):
How to handle holidays is a crucial part of relationship management. And since relationship management begins before you sleep with a woman, your Valentine’s Day strategy is important, regardless of your circumstance.

If you are NOT involved with someone:
- Do not contact her (if you really like someone and your trying to get her) on Valentine’s Day. Do not send flowers, anonymous or not. Go “dark”. A day or two after Valentine’s Day (Wednesday, February 14 th), call her and tell her a funny story about something that happened when you were out with a “friend” on “Wednesday”. Be subtle – she’ll put two and two together – and make your story take place somewhere romantic but not over the top, and, importantly, somewhere that will sound fun to her.

- Go out and meet women! Women who go out on Valentine’s Day are looking for romance and to feel better about themselves. Prepare for questions like “Why aren’t you with someone tonight?” and “Why don’t you have a girlfriend”. An okay all-purpose answer to these is to say “because I just MET you, silly” and continue on with whatever you were talking about before.

Lastly

-A mass text message of “Happy Valentine’s Day” to all of the women in your phone may prompt some women to text back, possibly revealing new or buried interest you.

Im also single at the moment and feeling really lonely this holiday. The last guy i dated broke up with me after two years because he realized he didnt want kids in his future and I already have one. Thats a horrible way to end it after two years. Your not the only one. But good luck!

Ignore the holiday. It is a meaningless day like christmas(except for families with kids). Consider yourself lucky that you are not with a woman who is complicating your life, making you run around in circles, cheating on you or flirting behind your back or looking for some way to make you unhappy.

It's a fake holiday it doesn't mean anything but you can still use it as an excuse to be extra nice to yourself if you want.
