i wish to identify all local plants nearby my place, with their common and scientific names.?

how shall i do that? any book for that? am staying in delhi,india.

First, know all the local names of the plants and there are a lot of books which give local name as well as scientific names.

i would go to book store or perhaps university to see if there are any feild guides? i live in US and we have lots of different plant and animal guides depending on where you are located
