The hairdresser has put too many in so I am virtually blonde, but the blonde is very brassy and unnatural looking! I hate it, is there something I can do.? Expressed my views to the hairdresser but shes not interested!

thts happened to me before, dnt stress. just buy a box dye and dye it. it wont go to dark coz of the high lights. if u dnt want to do that find another hairdresser and get darker highlights put in like brown. it makes the blonde not so noticeable.

hope i helped!! good luck sunshine. dnt worry it'll work out

Well, the hairdresser really should sort it out for you, but if you really don't want the hassle of going back and complaining, I would use a semi-permanent dye in a soft light brown or dark blonde shade - the more bleached your hair is, the more porous it is so the lighter parts wil absorb more of the dye than the darker bits - this should tone down the brassiness without totally losing the highlights. I hope you can get it the way you want it, it's the worst thing ever to have your hair ruined and I sympathise totally.

hey this happened to me as well. My hairdresser didnt want to know at first either but after i told her it wasnt what id asked for and i wanted it putting right she agreed to do it the following week if i still wasnt happy! After the week was up the blonde had actaully toned down quite a bit and it looked much more natural. If i was you i would try and leave it for a week or so and see if the same thing happens with yours. i wouldnt rush out straight away and buy a hair dye as its not good for your hair to dye it 2 often and also depeneding on how bleached your hair is it may go a funny colour (this happened to my friend!). good luck!

The hairdresser has a responsibility to fix this.... you paid for something that you have to live with...... and that should not be something that you are not happy with.

The same thing happened to me in the past, after a few strong words etc I got my hairdresser to add several red and bark Brown streaks to break up the Blond...the results were good. Please not though that blonde will fade slightly as will red.

Go back and tell her again - they have a duty to make sure they do the job you asked for - if it is wrong they have to correct it - it may mean that you have to go and have it done all over again!

If it isnot right - go to Trading Standards - you will be surprised at how many hairdressers have been reported to them for this type of thing - to my knowledge - not one hairdresser has won a case!

get a box of do it yourself hair dye and dye it brown it won't be all dark brown but it may turn out to be a really nice colour the high lights will be a lighter brown than the rest and that could be highlights that you like. I've been there more than once. it works.

Go back! You could make it much worse by trying to cover it yourself. The highlights could turn ginger or cow dung green. Ive been there and done that so i wouldnt try to correct it yourself. It is your hairdressers fault and she should fix it.Good luck!

Lose the hairdresser, any decent stylist WOULD be interested. that's terrible. I'd ask her to fix it and if she has issue with that, call the salon owner. I'd not recommend trying to correct the color yourself. Good luck.

Not Interested? How dare they take that attitude?

Have you spoken to the manager/ownser of the salon about it?
I would do that, next time go to a more reliable salon!

Good Luck on getting it how you want it!

try using semi permanant hairdye and get a tone near your shade so when its growing back you cannot see any roots. hope this helps
