B1tches do like to advertise when they are available! Having said that, I would take her to the vet, just to check that she hasn't got a UTI because it isn't normal for them to do it all over the house. Has she also been drinking excessively?

Actually, frequent urination is a sign of a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). You'll need to take her into the vet for a urinalysis(it is a cheap test) to see if she has an infection. It is dangerous to assume that it is just marking behavior, especially since marking behavior of that sort is not common for female dogs.

I had a male dog that did what you describe, but never a female dog. I don't see why she couldn't, its just that peeing is marking her territory not announcing her scent I think.

Ive never had a female dog I've had do that growing up. If I were you I would take her to the vet. It could be something more serious, like a urinary tract infection or something like that....you never know.

I have never heard of this...but if male dogs can do it, why not females? I would say just to watch her and make sure she doesn't get outside during this time! Good luck!

it is normal to leave her scent everywhere outdoors but peeing in the house is NOT normal------you may have to keep her in a pet taxi till her season is over at night and when unattended.

she will leave her scent to attract a male whilst she is in season. If you think she is peeing more than normal, check her out for an urinary tract infection.

she may well have cystitis,in which case this will cause her to pee a lot,and they cannot help it,you may want to take her to vet for a check up and if she does have this some antibiotics,
good luck with her

she is crying out for male attention.youre not being fair to male dog owners taking her out cos you drive them wild.many a male dog is lost chasing the scent of a bitc h in season.keeping her in is better.get her checked to be sure
