I have a dog of my own, and either before, or after I hop on the puter, and sometimes while I'm on, I'll give him attention, sometimes the little extra attention they crave, so they don't feel jelous when I want to play on the puter, cuz its something they cant do, or dont understand...I always try and make sure to include plenty of play time when I'm awake, and potty time too, because puppies esp/dogs, need all the extra time they can get.;) I just remember all the time why I got him in the first place, a friend, companion, and someone to spend time with....

I have the same problem as you, Sadie is like she is on speed and needs to play all the time, so we have lots of squeak toys to play with. If I set she wants in the chair behind me, or in my lap, she even trys this at dinner time. She even knows this is a no no, so we have to do the fetch toy thing. I am the 3rd owner of this little dog and I love her to pieces.
I don't think she got much love form her other 2 homes. I have had dogs and cats all my life and Sadie is one that need all the attention I can give her, my repay from her is I live alone on a farm and she is one of the best watch dogs I have ever had. And there is no dought in my mind that she would protect me with her own life. So give your doggie all that it needs even if it is sharing your chair while you are on the putter.

she is trying to be dominant.
when she gets on your lap tell her NO and put her on the floor.
don't let her climb up and push you off. stop her with a firm NO
same with the biting.
you need to correct this behaviour now.
if it was attention she will sit infront of you and whine, put her paws in your lap.....
