What kind of oil do u use?

I think vegetable oil would be fine. Any oil perhaps, except olive oil because olive oil tends to add its own flavour to the food - and I doubt you want that in your ice cream!

Never use anything but extra virgin olive oil for any kind of frying. It's the easiest oil for the human to digest.

Peanut oil and olive oil are good. The trick is to use it fresh rather than re-used. Olive oil is best because it is more easily digested in your body and will not raise your cholesterol level.

At work we use canola oil, but it's really the freshness of the oil that makes the difference.

Safflower. It is virtually tasteless and works good.
