The reason why I believe in God is because here's my point:
What started the big bang? What was before?
Well that point isn't really helping so let me burn it and give a longer point:
The Earth. The Earth has an unsually large and close moon that could keep maintain the tides, and keep Earth spinning at the right direction for a long time.
Other than that along with Mars and Jupiter, the Moon had protected us from comets, meteors and asteroids for eons. Okay, not eons, but protected us humans for a long time. Whenever something is about to kill us, we dodge. Whenever we're unable to dodge, these celestial bodies protect us.
Long enough for life to cultivate, long enough for us to modernize.
This is my opinion on the existence of God, The Rarity of Our Earth.
Hmmm?
Aliens?
Why doesn't in the holy books talk about aliens?
Well, odds are there are aliens, then again odds are we should be dead,

I too believe in Evolution and all the science-ey stuff that explains the world.
I myself, am a Muslim.

Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!
Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!
Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?
My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:
Do you know how to play safe?
Your point:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...
Believer's point:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...
Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?

I believe in God primarily because God cannot be disproven, and there aren't any valid (non speculative) criticisms of the Bible.
As for Evolution...it is really an illusion created by materialism (the unprovable assumption that the cosmos is an absolute).
Since science is an attempt to define the cosmos in terms of itself, if you look to science to explain origins, then you have already ASSUMED Evolution (which is why Evolution is never actually questioned by science).
I'm not a religious person, but I haven't found any legitimate criticisms of the Bible, and I have witnessed things that can only be described as "miraculous."

Many people like to say God doesnt exist, but that is not the case. I look at it like this: the people who dont believe, dont want to believe, they dont want to comprehend what they cannot see, touch, or feel physically. These are the depressed, the ignorant, those who feel like they are getting the short end of the stick....those who feel they should be handed things and oh why me, you know the type, i dont need to embelish anymore. The truth is, they dont believe, becaues they dont want to ADMIT that they arent making there lives what they want them to be. they are expecting handouts and delusions of grandeur without the work. Trust me, I was one of them, walking a round with a head full of air wondering ohhhh woe is me..why me... well guess what? I woke up and grew the heck up!!! God is real! He has blessed us with so many opportunitys and chances that it is unbelievable. We really do have free will, and no matter what you do, we control our own lives and destinys. I love to say, if you dont like it- change it. Make your life how you always pictured it!!! God is there giving us faith, hope, love, compassion, but hes not gonna give away the milk if we dont do the work to milk the cow...life is learning process, a growing process. I know from first hand God is real, angels are real. You just must keep an open mind and believe!!!!!! Life is our playgrounds, play as hard and as long as you want!!!!! Crap happens, thats a given! but u know if we didnt experience the rain we wouldnt appreciate the sun!!!!! Never regret anything, it made you who you are today, be proud of that, and if you not, work on making yourself proud of that. I like to always think of this::: we cant choose our parents, we cant choose how we were brought up, but we can choose who we are and what we want to be and what we want to do! our opportunities are endless!!! get out and make your dreams come true!!! nobody made history by sitting around moping!!!! be strong and you will succeed!!!!!!!!! remember you are what you think about all day long!!! God gave us this gift to treasure it. So get up, get going, and treasure it!!!! you will realize that hes been there for you all along.

for me there is too much evidence that evaluation hap pend and is happening still. if you ever went to school they will tell you that alto of people believe the earth was made by a big bang of gases.

Hlo .... i was somehow like you before ... i have already faced many trials in this life. . .. there were really tough and very hard... i ask Him about it and now i only understand ... now my life is somehow fun and interesting for other people ..... God really exist .. we may not see it now. .. but we willbe stronger in the near future ... and face it with courage and with great wisdom ..
