Hey people, my brother bought me a new ipod nano and happy to have it but theres a problem. i already have itunes but its version 6. i need 7 and i tried countless times to download it but it wouldnt. i downloaded new updates for my windows computer and that didnt help. so any advice?

Same as above, but in iTunes, you can goto File>Export to save the location of all of your music files so that you don't have to re-add everything. Then once you have your new version installed, you can goto File>Import and it will add everything.

First, go to your iTunes Music folder and copy everything there to another folder. Then, go to your control panel, go to the Add/Remove Programs List section, and uninstall iTunes.

Go here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ , enter an e-mail address (and uncheck those newsletter options if you don't want to receive them), make sure Windows XP/2000 is selected, and then click "Download iTunes 7.0.2"

Install it and you shouldbe good to go. You may need to move your original iTunes Music files back (I don't know if they're deleted when you remove iTunes or not, so that's why I suggest backing them up first).
