Mosley beat De La Hoya twice
De La Hoya genuinely lost to Shane Mosley in their first encounter because he faded and gave away late rounds but in their second fight the majority of the public (myself included) thought he was a lot busier and won the fight but the decision went to Mosely
Trinidad beat Oscar
This was controversial too. A lot of people thought Oscar won this one but like in the first fight with Mosley he faded late and the judges felt differently
The only distinctive undisputeable loss of De La Hoya's was when he was KO'd by Bernard Hopkins.

Oscar Dela Hoya was a great talent but he never won the fights that would have made him a great fighter. Sometimes I think the fans confuse star power with ablity and his star power was 2nd only to Ray Leonard and Muhammad Ali the only problem was Oscar coudlnt fight like either man. Was "The Golden Boy" overrated to some degree, yes and no. Yes becasue I would never consider him an all-time great at any of the weight classes he fought in. No becasue although his hype never matched his ablity he still had an amazing career beating Pernell Whitker, Julio Cesar Chavez, Hector Camacho not to mention all the awards he's won. I've never considered Oscar great for what he's done in the ring but more so what he's done for Boxing as a whole something no fighter including Ali could ever match. I'll always remember Oscar for helping the sport more so than being a great fighter.

DeLaHoya fought Mosley twice and Trinidad once. DeLaHoya lost all the bouts ever though they all were close. DeLaHoya takes too much punishment considering he is not a big man and can move pretty well. He would have a tough time against either of these guys in a rematch.
