I bought my 2006 sonata in December 2005, have already driven about 14,000 miles in it and so far have had no complaints. The chief reasons I went for the car are the safety features, warranty and value for money. The 2007 model is pretty much the same. The previous sonatas (2005 and before) were considered somewhat of a joke by many people, but the new sonata deserves respect even from automakers such as toyota, honda and nissan. I have friends driving new camrys, accords and altimas and they all like my car the best. I just wish I had gone for the V6 model instead of the GLS. For the price you're paying, it's the best car you'll get!!!

I have an 06 (basically the same as the 07) V6 and am very satisfied with it. It has good power and drives smooth. I often take it for long trips (over 400 miles) and find it comfortable, more so than my previous ride a Toyota Camry. The Camry was a reliable ride, but after reading about people who swore by Hyundai, had several in their garage and recommended it to their family and friends, etc, I decided to take the plunge. So far I think I can see where they are coming from. You get a good quality car for a good price and with a super warranty, makes for a very happy customer.

The Sonata should be near the top of any mid-size car buyers list and the V6 is definitely the one to go with for a small price. You'll also want to look at the Accord, Camry, Altima and Kia Optima. Any of those cars will make you happy. If you're worried about depreciation and trade in value in 2 years then you should be leasing and not buying your car.

I have a 2006 Sonata and I love it. The safety features are fantastic and you can't beat the warranty. It is a good solid car that handles well in snow or dry weather. The Electronic Stability Control comes standing and I can feel the tires gripping the road. It's a great car!!!

I have 2006 sonata and it's amazing. I have the v6 model and it has more than plenty of power, very comfortable. I've been in acura TL, and Camry, and accord, but I think my car is the most quiet one out of all. I love it

Do your homework before buying. Hyundai's do not hold their value so if you would happen to want to trade it later on, yu more tan likely will loose money. Plan on keeping it until it is fully paid for. I just had recent experience with this. Traded my 05 Tiburon.
