Jon puts 1000 peices of paper and an orange into a dryer with a load of darks. Why when the cycles done the darks are gone, and the papers and the orange still remain?

How bout actaully trying to answer the question instead of trying to be english teachers, the ones who didn't even try to answer it are retarded and just wanted the points, and im still waiting for a right answer. p.s. this is hardly my first day, you can create other names you know ;)

The heat of the dryer released the oranges oils/acids. This then in turn bleached the darks.. so instead of darks you had whites or lights. (?)
