I saw on of those 20/20 type shows about germs, that your toilet is cleaner than your kitchen sink, so I guess its okay. I mean the dog licks his own butt, so how much worse can a toilet be?

Human faeces is the best natural delicacy of a dog, so it's not strange that a dog savours drinking from the toilet. Whether it is ok or not depends on one's attitude to other people's preferences. If one feels that one's own preferences should be imposed on others, especially when a dog is involved, so be it. However, if one cares about animal right, one would allow the dog to "go natural" in its choice of food or drink. The problem is that we have allowed a dog too much closeness to us that any germs it picks up from unsanitary foods and drinks, which might not be injurious to itself, might be injurious to humans.

Lot of solid solutions right here. What i'm questioning is how a three month old puppy can drink water out of a rest room bowl until eventually he's a wide puppy? Your neighbor will in all likelihood record you to the animal administration human beings for neglecting an animal. i imagine it truly is a criminal offense to leave a puppy on my own on your homestead when you're out of city. in case your going to have a puppy it is your duty to take care of it or see that it truly is treated once you're out of city, in the different case don't have a puppy.

I have dalmations both females 13 and 8 last year they started to drink from the toilet, even though their water bowls are full, there has been no bad effects from it. The water is cleaner, and cooler..
Dont use the blue tablets or other things , we just keep it clean and they seem fine

Probably not good. Especially if you let your dog lick you.
Or if you put those little blue things into the water. Not a good idea.
