Is that all GOD is? Literally, a choice? Like how there are those who choose homosexuality? Like me? Yes, it is a deeply rooted choice......I like sex.....and I don't hurt anyone.

Sin is a choice. It always was, and always will be. God is not a choice, God is the answer.

Love is a both way. Some people can fall in love just by looking at somebody else. Other's fall in love by an action that someone does for them(like some sort of heroic act). On the other side, people can deny falling in love with anybody, no matter the case. If this continued, that person might never fall in love again. Belief in God is a choice, purely. There are many religions in the world, and Christianity (belief in Christ, and God) is more or less an idea that a great entity controls the many random things that happen in this world. I guess many people believe in God because they feel like they need some form of hope, as they can't find hope in their normal daily lives. So, in example, a Christian could get robbed in the street, and lose a lot of money or something like that. That Christian will then ask: "Why God? What have I done wrong?" If it was an atheist, the case will be different. They'll probably try to get to the police station asap and report the crime. Belief in God is your choice and your choice alone. It hasn't hurt people to believe, but I think it hasn't helped people either, except finding the hope to carry on through their lives.

God is! The choice is rather you choose to accept him and follow him and a choice is what you chose to do in life.
when things happen beyond or control you still have a choice as to how you accept it and how you reacted.
And yes homosexuality is a choice also and Gods word speaks against it. But Jesus died for our sins and will forgive all if we ask and repent. This life is short lived, God promises us eternity with him. Now the choice is do you love him enough to realize nothing we want or desire that is of this world is important because it's not about us. We are saved by his grace for all we sinned none deserve to go to heaven, but Jesus loves us enough to take us anyway if only we follow his ways.

Freedom of Choice

[33:72] We have offered the responsibility (freedom of choice) to the heavens and the earth, and the mountains, but they refused to bear it, and were afraid of it. But the human being accepted it; he was transgressing, ignorant.

[33:73] For GOD will inevitably punish the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women, and the idol worshipping men and the idol worshipping women. GOD redeems the believing men and the believing women. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

Do Not Follow Your Parents' Religion Blindly

[5:104] When they are told, "Come to what GOD has revealed, and to the messenger," they say, "What we found our parents doing is sufficient for us." What if their parents knew nothing, and were not guided?

[5:105] O you who believe, you should worry only about your own necks. If the others go astray, they cannot hurt you, as long as you are guided. To GOD is your ultimate destiny, all of you, then He will inform you of everything you had done.

No Compulsion in Religion

[2:256] There shall be no compulsion in religion: the right way is now distinct from the wrong way. Anyone who denounces the devil and believes in GOD has grasped the strongest bond; one that never breaks. GOD is Hearer, Omniscient

[2:257] GOD is Lord of those who believe; He leads them out of darkness into the light. As for those who disbelieve, their lords are their idols; they lead them out of the light into darkness - these will be the dwellers of Hell; they abide in it forever.

Mostly it's guided by your education, intelligence, conscience and your upbringing. After that if you still feel neither particularly for/against religion then it becomes a choice. Otherwise it's kinda deeply rooted in.

I doubt that the thousands upon thousands of Christians in the world would claim that they are Christian by choice. Their conscience tells them that it's the right choice and therefore there is no choice.

God is Love and He loves us so much that He's giving everyone the free will to either follow His way to love or go their own way. Well, good for you, just don't hurt anyone then and I guess it's okay. But I hope you find God somewhere there!:)

U think God's just a choice; which you can choose when you want and dispose when you don't?? No sire, God isn't just a shoelace that you decide to wear on your shoes or not. And please, don't compare him to "homosexuality". If you want to know God, just analyse urself and pore over the fact that there is life in ur useless body, that makes u like sex.... :-)
