my ex wont leave me alone!!! HELP?

Question

My ex and I have been broken up for a week in a half. (we've been through this before because we were together a year in a half on and off). He won't stop calling my house, the phone line is tapped and it's going to the Sheriff's whenever he calls, but they won't do anything about it. He won't leave me alone on Myspace... he sends e-mail after e-mail and spams my inbox and in the e-mails all he's saying is "I love you baby, can we still be friends? i miss you" and all that lovely crap. Then when I'm on AIM he's always IM'ing me saying the same crap and then he's always on top of that calling me a b**** and a whore and a s*** and just all of these uncalled names and saying I'll never find another guy better than him. It's driving me crazy and I do keep changing my screen name but he ALWAYS finds me... I need some help... it's driving me crazy and stressing me out reallly bad. I do'nt know what to do and like I said the sherriff isn't do anything about it. It's been going on for 2 wks.

He also claims that he loves me and that I'm the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with and that he'll never love another girl because he's so in love with me. I know it's all b******* and it's driving me crazy because he keeps saying stuff to try and bring me down and I'm just an emotional wreck over it and it pisses me off that the cops won't do anything about it. He even has a past of stalking and harassing people, so what am I to do???

I really do want him to leave me alone and I do want to move on with my life... and I want to forget about him.. but it's hard when he's always finding me online and he's always doing this crap to me... I tell him all the time LEAVE ME ALONE... does it work? No of course not... he tells me he's got all these girls that want him and stuff and I tell him good go be with them and leave me alone and then he goes okay I will... then turns around and won't leave me alone.

This guys is really nuts, litterally. He has a bad record in several different counties here in Northeast Ohio (where I live and he too). The cops know that but they still aren't doing anything about it... I don't know what more I can do because they told me they'd help me out, but they haven't... I think this guy is bi polar or ADD... it's crazy. He's crazy!!!! I just want rid of him for good.

I have printed off e-mails and IM conversations... He HAS threatened me... and not only me but he's threatened my Dad and my mother too!!!! He said that he's going to kill my father and that he'd kill me too if I didn't get back with him... and I've told the police this and I have givin them copies of everything... I tell my parents too what he's doing and they DONT DO ANYTHING. What the hell is going on... does nobody care that this is happening to me?

The cops won't do anything unless he actually threatens you or worse. I know. The only thing you can really do is just start deleating the mail don't even acknowledge that you received it. Never be alone with him. If you see him don't let him know you saw him. Ignore him at all times. If he threatens you then tell the police immediately, report him and don't stop even if they don't do anything with him it will be on record, they will get tired of hearing from you and do something. Print any e-mails that are threatening and give to the police. Sounds to me like the smartest thing you have done is dump this guy.

I am sorry what you are going through sound like you got an stalker. All I can tell you look like you taken all the step you can even the police. All the advice I can give just never go anywhere alone always go with someone I wish there was more i can suggest but i can't think of anything else good luck

dam u got some messed up police there. cept i figure u could take this to court and try your luck there.
