I am a Muslim woman.
I know deep within my heart that the religion I follow is the correct one. Islam is the PERFECT religion. In fact, it is a way of life.

Our beloved Prophet (pbuh) taught us about every aspect of life - from birth to death and beyond. One of the things that convinces me about the truth of Islam is this: Every Prophet (pbut) from the time of Adam (pbuh) till the final Prophet of Islam (pbuh), preached monotheism - the Oneness of God. I know that the Qu'raan is the Holy Book from God preserved in its original form.

If you read the Qu'raan, the Final Testament, you will feel the conviction in your heart that this was not written by man. Even listening to the Qu'raan being recited can leave you awe struck.

There is no other possibility for me except this :
There is no God, but Allah. Allah is, was and always will be in existence.
Muhammad (pbuh) is the final Messenger of Allah.
Allah has a lot of love for His creation.
If we fail to "see" or recognize Him by observing His creation, that does not mean that He does not exist.

Peace

Hi,
I don't consider myself religious at all, but I do have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, Both words begin with R, but religion is not my area of expertise while my relationship with Jesus is , an up close encounter of the most personal kind. I think we could agree that there has to be a final authority, a final answer, if you will, to every question. Some folks look to scholars. I look to God's word. It's good enough for me. I accept His word completly by faith, a belief in something unseen, to be sure. It isn't so difficult. Do you fully understand electricity? Did you personally wire your house? Do you understand the complexities of voltage and wattage and kilowatts? Me. neither. I just have faith that if I pay the power company and flip a switch, the lamps will come on. I don't know a flying fig about current but I can plug in the coffee pot. See how simple faith is?
Yes, there are many, many other books which offer alternative ways of thinking, some of which have just enough truth to completely confuse you, and plenty of untruth to beguile you. No other "religion" makes the claim of a crucified Savior, who died and arose again. Either Jesus did just exactly that or He is a liar. All other religions worship mere men who lived and died, like Mohammed or Buddha. Some men even fashion there gods from wood or stone to suit themselves. Some nuts and fruits and candies[smiling] dance around worshipping trees or the sun. Think about it; God created each of these men, the trees they carve into images, and the objects in Nature for their beauty and our pleasure. No, dear one, I do not wonder about the possibilites. Jesus is the one true God. He makes the claim and He can back it up. He's alive.

I know that all revelative religions are right, because their teachings are in conformity with each other throughout millennia and the their fruit are the most beautiful among all human achievements.
Khrisna, Buddha, Moses, Christ, Muhammad, Baha'u'llah...have left the Holy Books which are the most read books on the Internet for inspiration and wisdom, and the communities of Their followers are the positive elements in building the world civilization.

All the holy books are wrong, by definition. The nature of God cannot be apprehended by a finite, human mind--let alone set in prose. Lao tze said it best, "The way that can be spoken of is not the Way." True spirituality is not about looking up answers in books; it is about returning to one-ness with God.
A state of constant prayer (not to be confused with "always praying"), deep meditation, and rituals of communion are the first tools to get where you want to go...

I only know that the belief system I follow is right for ME. I beliieve there is value in all religion and all paths lead to the same destination. Some are shortcuts, and some are long and winding roads, but all will lead us back to the kingdom of heaven.

I am 100% sure because Christianity is a revealed religion. It was founded by no less than God himself who revealed himself to us through his only begotten Son Jesus Christ. The only other religion that can claim this is Judaism. Jews and Christians worship the same God.
Have a nice day!

Listen girl friend, I have seen the demons, and they only left me alone because of the name of Jesus, so I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, it is real. Go read John. You need Jesus to have any effect on them, or salvation. It comes in Jesus name, all other religions are just rules and regulations, in Jesus name God gives you his spirit as a deposit, and then you will know its real! Get that spirit. John 3

the Bible does not address the question of whether God exists, but mainly addresses the question of who this God is

prophesies, creation, miracles all attest to the truthfulness of the Bible, the resurrection of Jesus being the most powerful sign

I dont.

All I know is that it fits right with me.

And yes I will openly admit the fact that I dont know for sure that God exists.

If this makes me agnostic then so be it.

since there are so many options, most of them mutually exclusive, and we know all cultures have their origin myths, I conclude they must be indeed that: myth.

Therefore: no god(s). The universe functions perfectly well without them.
