if it was bubblegum flavored, i'm sure the bacteria wouldn't die... instead, they'd continue to swim inside your mouth for an eternity...^^... they'd probably say, "YAY! Bubblegum!" (",)

This is normal. I had it too and to be honest, of all the symptoms I had during my first 2 trimesters, it was by far the thing that bothered me the most!! I had queasiness and fatique etc but that damn nasty taste drove me insane!!! There isnt much you can really do for it. My advice is avoid strong flavored things such as onions and garlic. It makes the taste that much worse. Juice helped me a little bit. Also, I would avoid eating at your favorite restaurants or eating your favorite foods until this symptom goes away. Mine went away around 12 weeks. Very gradually though. But by 16 weeks it was completely gone but even after that I had a hard time eating the things that I had eaten during that time period. It brought back bad memories. Kind like when your little and you puke something up and never wanna eat it again. Ya know? Sorry theres not much advice I can give for heling it now, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. When it finally goes away, you will really enjoy eating again!!

What i tend to do is wash my mouth out first with mouth wash to look after my teeth and gums then brush my teeth after to get rid of the horrible taste!

Listerine Vanilla Mint, less intense. And not so terrible to your taste buds.

Yeah that's the fact. I think their makers are trying to avoid adding sweet ingredients that will cost them more money. Have you tried Oral b .I haven't tasted it but I have seen many people using it so I think it could not have that awful taste.

Try Elmex (for sensitive teeth) - it's mild and doesn't taste too bad.

its because of the alcohol in the mouthwash. try a mouth wash that doesn't have alcohol in it.
