Please take him to the vet as soon as possible. It sounds as though his eye is painful as well, otherwise he wouldn't snap or whine. Whatever conditiion he has can be treated if you get it early.

Your poor dog has an eye infection and needs to see the vet asap. Conjunctivitus can cause ulcers on the eyeball, its incredibly painful. It makes your eye sore and itchy. When you go to itch it, it hurts. Get him to the vet today.
The blue bit is just the colour. The vet will explain it when he checks your dog.
Theres no way you can confuse an infection - which causes redness, weeping and pus - with cataracts.
Cataracts form inside the eye and are a white colour. They are harmless and the dog doesn't feel a thing.

If the discharge from his eyes are yellow or green (before they dry) then he most likely has an eye infection. Be glad he hasn't passed it on to the other dogs yet. Take him to the vet and get some ointment or eyedrops for him and make sure you wash your hands with soap after you clean his eyes. The other possibility is he has allergies but it is more likely he has an infection.

Not sure, my boxer also gets eye bogies (yuk!) and his eyes run occasionally. The vet had a look and said it was normal for a boxer. That was two years ago and it doesn't bother him at all. Take him to the vets to be on the safe side and put your mind at rest.

Sounds like his tear duckts are blocked. Take him to the vet for medication ASAP. Blocked tear ducts do absolutely nothing if taken care of quickly, but if you let it sit then your dog could go blind (the worst) or smell awful.

Get your dog to the vet as soon as possible. He could have corneal ulcers which, apart from being incredibly painful, will affect your dog's sight if not dealt with soon. No wonder he's snappy, it must be so sore.

Sounds like you would be best having him checked out at the vets.
