I know the "pornographic" is an informal vocabulary. What's the formal vocabulary for it?
I want to say "pornographic files".

pornographic is not an informal word. It is the formal word. Pornographic files is good, formal english. Sexual trash would be informal...or something like that.

Hi pretty brown eyes; are you asking about 'pornographic,' or phonographic? Actually, both words are formal but have vastly different meanings. Pornographic means something of an obscene, explicitly sexual nature; phonographic has to do with sound.

There's nothing wrong with 'pornographic' - but I suppose you could say 'adult content' or 'explicit content' or something like that.
