Is it wrong for punching my dog in the nose for peeing no my bed?

Chiuaua’s are buttholes! His name is Pettie but he should have been called peepee. How should I make him behave? He’s a long haired puppy.

Calm down, I was just joking. I'm just a little drunk.. I don't be punching him forreal, but don't get me wrong I rub his nose in it and whip his butt

I'm giving everyone a good rating, I deserved that. :D For real, he know's he is doing wrong because he hides right after he does it.. He's been punished for it a million times between my wife and I. What should I do!!

I got hit in the face once for peeing in the bed. Only I was sharing it with my wife & she get all 'pissed' haha

Not as long as you punch yourself in the face every time that you do something wrong. I may be able to help you with that.

Just try taking him out more often, and you may want to call a vet (especially if he just started doing it out of the blue) and have him checked for urinary problems. My male dog started have accidents in the house and it turned out that he had a urinary tract infection and he couldn't help it.

Punching a little dog in the nose is a bit extreme, but hey! life is a series of knocks and unacceptable behaviour is one way to attract a hard knock.
I get really tired of all the experts who condemn animal owners for how they discipline their pets.
Sometimes a good old fashioned twack works.
I have vast experience in training dogs, and there are all types of dogs with different learning methods. However many of the basic methods are consistantly practicle.
My first technique would be to use an adequate cloth to soak up the mess, and to tie the cloth to the dogs neck for 24hrs, and repeat the punishment whenever he does it inside.
One must be aware that the dog is only marking his territory where the female scent is strongest. There is a natural process going on here.
He is a little dog with a big appetite.

tap there nose and say no very harshly straight away after it happens
u really only need to rub there nose in it if u are punishing them for sumthing that happened previously, so they know what they r being punished for

Chiuaua’s are small dogs, and a chiuaua puppy is even smaller. No punches in the nose/face/body period.

It's very good to rub their face in it when they do it, just don't do it abusively. Make sure they smell it for a while. They hate that when you're training them, so he'll get the picture soon enough. Tell him NO sternly while you have his face in it, and then let him outside.

Good luck, and never give in to physical abuse, no matter how tempting it may be.

yes. to repremand a dog for urinating anywhere immediately after the dog urinates take their muzzle and rub it in the close to the area and scold and a swat them on the but. Thats it though. IF YOU know the dog peed but it could have been a while before you realized it it's too late to repremand them. You cannot hit a dog in the face unless it tried to bite you, otherwise you are purposely setting yourself up for a dog that will not trust you what so ever.

Do unto others as you would want done to you. Use a newspaper to scold its effective with dogs they don't like the noise. Praise when your dog does something right. Don't hit a innocent animal no matter how upset you are. Animals are pure love.

if youre punching him yeah. the dog has no idea why the heck your punching him/her. its just going to remember the pain tht u caused it. do it calmly, saying no sternly lookin into his eyes. but dont punish him if the inncodent didnt just happen. because if u punish after the fact then he has NO CLUE what youre punishing him for. maybe you should look into watching "The Dog Whisperer" It might help you.

Your dog doesn't understand. It doesn't understand where you do want it to pee. It just knows you do scary and painful things to it. That is why it hides, you moron.

Find the dog a good home with someone who won't abuse it.
