I am a Mormon, and my friends are baptist. They believe in only the Bible and they say the Book Of Mormon is not true. I have tried to explain the Plan of Salvation and Joseph Smith and all the prophets, but they don't believe in the Book of Mormon. What should I say?

Check out the website below if they have technical questions, or try reading LeGrand Richard's "A Marvelous Work and a Wonder." Or here's an idea - why would people want to limit an author to one book, when He is still alive and can have more books about His Gospel if He has other children in other places. You could even ask them if they have a favorite author, and if they stopped after reading the first book that author wrote and refused to read any more, or if they kept going. I heard a Christian the other day say Jesus Christ was the last prophet. It made me think that he/she was thinking like a Muslim, in that Mohammed was the last prophet for them. With the Bible and the Book of Mormon, we have two witnesses of Jesus Christ and have two legs to stand on, instead of just one. Also, just keep reading the Book of Mormon (and Bible) every day. The more you study and pray, the more spiritual growth you will have as well, and at some point in time, that will impress someone around you.

The book of Mormons is false. Mormons are a cult, your friends are right, I have to agree with them. Joseph smith was not a prophet of God, and Mormons do not preach to truth, they preach lies, and decieve people, and you unfortunatly fell victom. Why don't you go to your friends church as discover the truth for yourself, and speak to a pastor. You have nothing to lose. Please seek out the truth, the Holy Bible, not the book of mormons. God said regarding the bible do not take or add anything to the bible, of you do God will add to you the plagues discribed in the book. The Mormons have taken and added what they want and God warns what will happen if you do

First of all get on a even keel withe your friends. Use only your Bible to prove your point. The two books rant meant to be used agents each other. They are meant to be used adjacent to each other.

There isn't anything you can say that will convince them. All you can do is live your life as good as you can and be a great example. If you practice what you preach, and you are happy, and you are a great friend, then maybe they will be encouraged to learn more about it. Good luck.

I say let it go. Let them believe their way and you believe your way. You can still be friends and hang out.

There is no God. You and your friends are arguing over imaginary notions that will get none of you anything in life.
