anyone believe john edward isn't full of it?

Harry houdini and his wife made up a code that only they knew, and promised that when one died, they would both try their best to communicate it to the other through whatever means they could. It never worked. i think more people should do this. if it was possible, like Edward and others make a nice living claiming, why weren't they successful?

I am not sure why I am bothering to answer, other than perhaps SOME folks out there want a legitimate answer not closed minded drivel. I totally believe that JE is on the level. I have been to several of his seminars and I would challenge any of the people who swear he is a fraud to go to one and explain his accuracy.

Several years ago I wanted to know if Mediums were frauds or if it was legit. I didn't care what the answer was, I just wanted to know the truth. And while sadly there are definately some frauds out there, I have seen and HAD readings that gave point blank specific info that would not apply to anyone else. I was given names, how the person died, and very specific personal info. And most amazing is several times I was told stuff that made no sense to me, so I assumed the Medium was wrong, only to talk to a family member and have them 100% understand it. And one time I found out I was wrong and the medium was right. That ruled out mindreading to me, and proves it wasn't a cold reading either. And I personally made sure to give as little info as possible so there was no way a cold reading could have worked on me.

Yet I was given spot on info that would not have applied to 99 out of 100 people. After this happened enough times, and after I saw enough legit mediums work, I no longer doubt it IS possible. The key is finding a legitimate medium with good skills. There is a wide range of ability out there, and can often vary with readings.

And to the initial poster....you might be surprised to find how many people do this and do it well all over the world. I was. Did you know that there are thousands of Spiritual churches (try web searching Spiritualism) all over, and there are free readings done at every service, along with healing in most. And as for why more don't do it, many do it quietly. Look at how JE and other big name Mediums have been dissected and trashed, as demonstrated in this thread. If this was something you did would you want to deal with that BS? So many are happy to do it on a local or regional level just to help folks and not deal with defending themselves to folks who never once even had a reading or explored it with an open mind to see if it was legit or not!!!! And before anyone tells me how wrong I am, if you haven't had at least 2 readings with credible mediums, please don't bother as you have no legitimate experience to base an opinion on.

And as for making a good living doing this the vast majority charge reasonable prices. Did you know that many have spent years studying this, paying for workshops, seminars, and classes? Most do it part time because they can't afford to leave their full time jobs and like all of us have bills to pay. And as I mentioned before many shy away from more notariarity because they don't want all the negativity and attacks and just want to do it for those that want their services. And most if not all who do this legitmately give freely of their time and will serve churches, groups, etc and offer various pricing. There are a handful making a huge amount but not that many. And if you look at JE he would charge many times what he does and folks would pay it but he has insisted on keeping his pricing reasonable...ditto his seminars. It was cheaper to see him than a local medium--go figure!

Anyway sorry for going on so long but it's a subject I literally spent years trying to make sense out of, with the objective of just knowing the truth. It is so frustrating to see folks who never really looked into it stating opinions as facts. I hope anyone who has an real interest in this takes the time to see a real Medium...it truly is a fabulous experience and provides a peace and understanding that far outweighs closedminded dismissals.

OH and in all of this I forgot to reply to the Houdini main question...sorry. First some claim that his message did come through. But even if it didn't there could be many reasons why. I know I gave my Aunt 3 things to say to a Medium and when I came back to town from her funeral I ran into a Medium I knew casually at the supermarket and in the middle of just saying hi she started getting info, and got 1 of the 3 things! So I know firsthand it can be done. I could write a whole answer on this topic, and Houdini, but I'll spare you all lolol. Sorry for the length of this, but hopefully if you are interested in this topic you didn't mind and if not you are probably not reading anymore hehe!

Personally, I think he's full if it. If I'm in heaven why in the world would I communicate through John Edwards. When I'm in heaven I'll be praising and worshiping God, not trying to take a time out to communicate through John Edwards. I think Mr. Edwards is what you would call a snake oil salesman.

I don't think making a pact like this ever works. It is really out of their hands what happens after they cross over. There are a number of reasons why some departed spirits communicate with those still on the physical plane after they have crossed over and why others don't. We don't know the reasons. This does not disprove that some spirits who have crossed over communicate with those on the physical plane. While I believe there is much deception, I also believe there are occasions when it happens.

the unhappy factor is that it became made public. His spouse knew relating to the affair and nevertheless inspired him to run. It does makes me think of much less of him in his inner maximum existence, yet would not substitute the way i think approximately him politically. that's the comparable for any guy or women who makes blunders of their inner maximum existence. the only factor that concerns is the relationship between his spouse and young toddlers. in the event that they have forgiven him then why does what all and sundry else think of rely. If between the miraculous CEOs became caught cheating on his spouse do you think of alternative employer's could steer away from hiring him. the respond is not any, they could desire to have him. the comparable factor could be utilized here if he's the miraculous guy for the job who cares. I easily have particularly some admire for his spouse and experience for her and here family members. i easily experience that till now he could bypass on in politics he could choose this along with his family members which it form of feels he has already accomplished.

John Edward is a fraud and a charlatan. Unfortunately, gullible people give him lots of money to trick them. No supposed psychic or medium has ever demonstrated any paranormal ability when they have been observed properly.
