It depends on your mental status. Why do you want to smoke? As for what i know, physically you won't get addicted.
Let me give you an example: Wani got addicted after smoking her first ciggaret just because she made ciggarets as her subtitute. For whenever she felt blue, she'd smoke cigaretes.. But Sam didn't get addicted after smoking his first ciggaret because the reason he did that was just out of curiousity.. He stopped right after he knew the taste of it.
SO WHY DO U WANT TO SMOKE?

If I had never smoked my first one I would not be addicted now but I did and I am. If I had it to do over again, I would have never smoked the first one. I know this isn't really the answer to your question that you were looking for but its the truth and that's what you need to know.

no, i smoked less than 10 packets totally when i was younger.( sadly I inhaled lots as passive smoker) Even if I never been addicted or inclined to smoke, I sometimes craved for something " as if I needed badly a cigarette". Strange even after years. I think that is affected by our social influences.
If we see around people that smoke you think is a cool thing or so.
I won't recommend you experiment with it. Even one alone is dangerous to the body since is toxic. But if you think that you are a controlled person and know yourself you can try one to see how is the taste.
I'm personally a big smoke hater.

No, generally speaking you will not get addicted smoking just one cigarette. Many people have tried it who don't smoke, and I'd suggest trying it. You'll probably puke and never want to again.

Addiction is a phenomenon which takes place over the course of time. So stay away from it while you can. Once you take the plunge there is pretty much no turning back.

Taking one and liking it will lead to two, then three and so on, until you look for more. So don't take the first one. And you won't have to worry about becoming addicted.
