They found out the other day that the two temples were on the same spot near to dome of the rock. That is good news for Israel. Moslems do not like that idea. I am happy for Israel. That now may give them a reason now to rebuild their third temple. Construction for a walk way to the temple mount by the Israelies are underway now. That is good news. Israel should not hand over any more land to anybody, as it is their land given to them by God. God created this world and it is his, and God will give to whoever he wants and he decided to give the Jews Israel. Christians do you believe that if the Palastines will not reconise Israel which they do not, do you think they should go back to where they came from? they should leave Israel alone, because it is not their land, and never will be. Christians do you support me on this?God said about Israel I will bless those that bless you and I will curse those that curse you. I believe the muslems who want to kill the Jews are under God's curse.

I hate terorists.and what they are doing to Israel. But I have to remember God said "Vengence is mine said the Lord I will repay" When Russia, Iran and the Arab nations come against Israel in the not so distant future, I will be awsom to see God's power when he steps in to defend his land and his people and will destroy Israels enemys and the enemy s will all die when God pours out his wrath on them from Heaven. That will be a day to behold

It is easy to understand why the Muslims are so afraid of archaeological digs--not only on the Temple Mount itself but also around it--although these digs also shed light on Jerusalem's Muslim history. Muslims fear these excavations, not because they physically endanger al-Aqsa's foundations, but because they undermine the tissue of lies proclaiming that the Jews have no valid historical roots in the city and its holy sites.
The Israel Antiquities Authority coordinated its salvage dig by the Rambam (Mugrabi) Gate of the Old City with the Islamic Waqf, the Jordanian government and all other relevant authorities before its archaeologists began their work this week. Everyone understood that the excavation is being conducted 70 meters away from the Temple Mount and will in no way affect it.

No Leanne. I do not believe anything you said. Furthermore, you really should take a spelling lesson or at least use the "check spelling" feature that Yahoo provides if you want to sound a teeny bit more intelligent.
What exactly is an arhciologist? (Maybe archaeologist?) and what is a Moslem? You even spelled it as muslem as well... (neither is correct ... it is MUSLIM!) How about Palastines .. consider Palestines ..
... then there is your use of 'reconise' ... perhaps you meant recognize or in the UK I believe it is spelled recognise ... but nowhere is it spelled reconise.

About 8 or 10 years ago, Muslims allowed an archaeologist to go inside the al Aqsa Mosque and photograph inside, including the rock that the Mosque is named for.
In the rock is a hand-carved box shape in the exact dimensions of the Ark of the Covenant and hand-tooled improvements in the exact dimensions of the stones that would have made up the walls of the temple itself, oriented in the correct direction for the Yom Kippur ritual on the Mt. of Olives.
(The article was published in BAR magazine.)

If the modern day apostate, anti-Christian, and largely atheistic state of Israel had anything in common with the old biblical Israel, other than its' name, I might agree with you.
The other thing is, God fulfilled all his promises to Abraham and the Israelites when he conducted the Israelites into the promised land.
They lost their birthright afterwards, due to persistent apostacy and idol worship ... something they're right back at today.
The only promise open to Israel today is the same one God holds out to everyone else ... salvation through faithful baptism into his church.
They don't deserve, nor are they owed, anything else, by anyone, God included.
When we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, we are really praying for their conversion to the true faith that was founded by Jesus, the Prince of Peace ... not for the temporal and worldly type of peace that most expect.

Thanks for the support, but who do you think is going to bear the brunt if such rhetoric starts another major war in Israel.
Are you the one who is going to be asked to go over there and risk life and limb for the protection of Israel and Jerusalem?
I dont think so.
I will be the one who will has to drop everything and fight. Not that I would not do so, but I dont want to if it can be avoided.
So please you have no idea how complicated the situation is in Israel.
a little moderation might save lives.

Jews, Christians, and Muslims are all descendants of the same people (whether we speak literally since all the religions were birthed in that region, or mythologically, referring to Adam and Eve) so stop your petty sibling rivalries and learn to get along. I'm tired of my tax dollars being wasted on any of you.
