Push ups and situps and the different variations of the two exercises will improve your appearance. However you have to do them religously if you're to see any results. It's not gonna happen overnight, but it will happen so long as you keep doing them. Besides PU's and SU's though, go running too. It'll build out and tone your legs to go along with the abs, arms and pecs. I also do a lot of pullups so give that a whirl too. Have fun beating off the babes man! Lol, laters.

Of course it will, also it will help keep you strong. Also, remember, abs support the back, it could prevent back injury in the future. Also, be careful when doing squats, don't go down all the way, just enough so that you feel it burn in the thighs, otherwise, this could damage your knees. Bend your knees while doing sit ups, and never pull on the neck, Cross your hands on your chest and just use the abb muscles. You will have to learn other excercises so your rear don't get flabby also, you do want muscles in the rear and front of thighs as well, at least to keep them in shape.

omg yes. it will help. just don't eat fried food and stick to juices and water. eat three times a day. not all this random times for food. doesn't matter what you eat just as long as it is not fried. do 30 sit ups when you wake up and 40 at night. the next day do 30 push ups in the morning and 20 sit ups and at night do 30 push ups and 30 situps alternating days. you will be in tip top shape. i got out of boot camp 2 years ago in shape and that is what i do everyday and i am in the best condition ever.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

Yes. sit ups and push ups do help you get toned up. but weights is definitely better as it gives you greater resistance. since you are looking for tone, use some light weight and combine with some aerobic sports.

results will be minimal at best. with a constant load being placed on the muscles there is no reason for them to continue to adapt. by increasing reps you will be able to increase your muscular endurance but gains of strength and size will halt after a couple of months...
