China's biggest customer is the United States. China may not like our foreign policy, but even if it involved Taiwan, they would not go to war against us. The Russians are having trouble in Chechnya and the Caucasas, they don't need more wars, plus the Iranians probably regard them as godless warriors from the north as the Afghans did. The US is not going to invade Iran. We may take out their nuclear facilities with an air or missile attack from the sea, but we are not going to put boots on the ground there. The population is too great and the people likely would be united against physical invaders. We added an extra carrier battle group to the Persian Gulf to put pressure on the Iranians, but the view has to be toward a surgical strike by plane or ship launched missile. The typical battle group consists of an aircraft carrier with 80 to 100 planes, a guided missile cruiser or two, and two or three destroyers. Often a submarine is dispatched ahead of the carrier group to seek out possible enemy subs and to add a stealth threat to the missiles arrayed against the enemy.

No. China knows that, if push comes to shove, America will annihilate it. I think Russia would be happy to just sit back and pick up the scraps of war. If America invades Iran, in say 20 years, China may be in a position to do something, but right now China is building up for WW3. I don't think China will go to war unless it knows it will win and right now it knows it would lose.

China is one of the worlds fastest growing economies and has struck a few oil deals with Iran. they will back Iran to ensure access to that cheap oil.
Russian will back Iran as they are allies of a sort. Why do you think Putin spoke out against the US foreign policy at the weekend. That was a warning!

Russia already does back Iran. If we were to attack, (which I doubt, though I wish we would) Russia will do just like they did with North Korea and North Viet Nam; They will supply all the weapons and knowledge they need but will not put boots on the ground.
I was in Viet Nam in 1969, and had a Russian AK-47. I tried to get it back to the States, but unfortunately had to leave it behind

I think you can bet safely on that , as both country's have much invested in Iran , and the whole world has turned against the U,S, because of our gov, total support of Israel against the Palestinians, and every one is afraid of the U.S. because they know what the Zionist want to do , they want to rule the world, they have tried many times before and have failed, it looks like they will fail again because after Russia , China , Iran, and the Muslim world gets finished with us no one would want to even associate with us ,who would blame them?

properly first of all, China has a tendency no longer to go away its u . s ., yet they make dissimilar our stuff, so that they might end trading with the U. S.. Russia is amazingly violent yet in a depressing age, they might eagerly deliver their finished militia to Alaska it is interior of sight to them and paintings their wau down, besides the undeniable fact that they possibly couldnt get the resources to make an invading stress, Iran's militia is basically too small to guard themself AND attack the U. S. they might possibly bribe different international locations which have some thing hostile to the U. S. into the coalition inclusive of Britian Italy Germany and Iraq

No way. In fact, China would probably help Iran by selling them arms.

They will go to the UN and ask for a slap on the hand to the US. China needs our money. Russia has no real strength.
