I think it really depends on your skin tone. Look at people in mags and compare their skin tone and eye color with yours, and how well you like their hair. Matching skin tone is very very important! Have someone help you. I would not do something too close to your eye color or they will blend and wont get the focus they deserve. Maybe just simple highlights a little lighter then your natural hair color.

red. it depends on your personality and your skin tone. i have brown/hazel eyes, and my hair is dark auburn. of course, my eyebrows go well with the color, and so does my skin tone. red is very hard to keep up though, so if you want low mainentence, then maybe some highlights might look nice. good luck, and as long as you keep your hair conditioned, and use a good dye, your hair will remain healthy.

why do you want to dye your hair? what about brownish blonde highlites or something. it riuns your hair if you dye it all. i think

You should not dye it. Hair is what you are and you shouldn't change that!

i think carmel highlights would look good, but i find it best to stick with ur natural shade...its just looks better. :)
