Funny you should ask! I've been diagnosed with a life-threatening condition--a brain aneurysm that could rupture before I get a chance to get it treated. Anyways the first thing I thought to do was get my papers in order. Being a pack-rat I have to get them organized so my husband and kids can have them handy when it comes time to pay the mortgage and such. With funeral arrangements they're on their own! Then there's the hospital paperwork--advance directives or whatever they're called. Being a procrastinator I can't decide what should be done with my body or my life if I become comatose. That's another question there!Oh, of course I've been praying a lot!

Wow, I agree with some of the others... hugging my babies the whole time and probably crying. Calling everyone I know to tell them that I love them. Find someone to take care of my babies. Write a letter to them telling them how much I love them and probably praying ...even though I am not really a Christian... not praying to live, praying that my babies will be okay and have long happy lives.

Pray to God almighty to forgive me for all the wrongs I did in this world. Ask all my loved ones to come near to me eat all the good things I love like ice cream, cake & Chocolates, ask all my assets to be donated in the orphanage for the poor last few seconds in the arms of my sweetheart.............

I think I'd just want to lie in bed with my husband and embrace him and thank him for the many happy years he has given me, and try to find a way to make my passing easier on him.

Write my will. I keep planing on doing it but haven't yet. I would want to make sure my family doesn't get any of my stuff. (I haven't seen them in over 6 yrs)
Then I would do a blessing and call my b/f so he could get my dog. Hmm maybe call him first so my dog is taking care of. Put out extra food for her and kiss her good-by. Any time left take a bubble bath.

repent as much as possible. verily, Allah accepts those who repents. the only due time for repentance is when the soul is totally separated from you body. the most important worldly thing to do is make a will. don't think of another thing , leave it to God.
