In fact I want to utlise the the wide, zoom and normal lenses available with me
with this camera , threrefore the requirement of digital body.

You can't buy a DSLR 'for the same camera' That just doesn't make sense. What you can do, however, is buy a Pentax DSLR - there are two currently, the K1000, a 6megapixel model, and the K10, a 10mp, and probably the better camera. All the lenses you used on your Program Plus will be compatible, in that they will fit the new body, although not all functions might work. For example, I think the Program Plus was non auto-focus, so if you also have non auto-focus lenses you would have to continue to use manual focus on the DSLR. Also remember that because of the smaller size of the sensor in the DSLR, your lenses will have the focal length increased by approx 50%, so a 50mm lens will become a 75mm etc.
